The cause of constant fatigue and disorders of the nervous system can be the absence of silence, especially at night. We tell how to make sound insulation in the apartment not to hear neighbors, television sounds and other aerial noise.

The problem of excessive hearing is relevant for apartments in new and old houses. And you agree, it is not so important that there is behind the wall: a repair, accompanied by unbearable sounds, constantly doggy dog, a neighbor-musician or a newborn baby. A simple way to get rid of annoying sounds is to make additional sound insulation of the walls.
1 Frame partition

The most popular design that helps solve this task in new homes is a metal frame with plasterboard covering, the inner part of which is filled with mineral insulation. Dense layers (GLC) partially reflect the energy of the sound wave. Soft, made of material with a fibrous structure, absorb it most. In addition, frame partitions with drywall cover are rapidly and easier than brick or foam blocks. Yes, and they weigh 2-4 times less, which is extremely important for any houses, including with weak floors.

The soundproofing ability of structures is characterized by RW air noise sound insulation index. The higher its value, the more effective the partition prevents the penetration of sounds. Most mineral insulation manufacturers: Saint-Goben (ISOVER trademark), Tehtonikol, Knauf Insulation, Rockwool - offer specialized products with enhanced soundproof properties. Frame structures with filling from these materials often have a RW sound insulation index, exceeding the SP 51.13330.2011 "Protection against noise", according to which RW walls and partitions between apartments, between apartments and staircases should be 52 dB, partitions without doors between the apartments. The rooms, between the kitchen and the room in the apartment - 43 dB, and partitions between the bathroom and the room of one apartment - 47 dB.

It is important to remember that the sound insulation characteristics of frame-and-wing partitions depend on many factors. First, from the thickness of the insulating material placed between the sheets of the sheat. In addition, the number of layers of trim playing a prominent role. The lowest efficiency is partitions with a single-layer cover of GKL. Two layers of GLCs on the sides of the frame increase the surface density of the design and improve the sound insulation by 6 dB. The replacement of a single frame on a double, of two rows of non-interchanged metal racks, which are 10-20 mm from each other, improves sound insulation characteristics due to a decrease in resonant oscillations. The internal cavities of the frames are filled with an insulating material with a total thickness of at least 100 mm. A similar design with a thickness of 140-150 mm has high efficiency, and even loud voices are not heard behind it.

Multilayered structures with high-quality soundproofing materials perform the function of interroom partitions or isolation on the erected walls and partitions. True, in the latter case, the design occupies a sufficient area of the room, which can be quite noticeable in small rooms. And what to do if it is vital to increase the soundproofing qualities of already existing partitions and walls from thin monolithic reinforced concrete panels, bricks, small-piece blocks - foam concrete and ceramzite concrete, puzzle plaster plates?
Even a loosely mounted socket in a wall or a small slot under the door will noticeably reduce the sound insulation properties of any design.

For additional sound insulation, a small apartment or room is needed efficient, safe and, most importantly, thin material. For example, slabs from the stone wool "Acoustic Ultra-thin" (Rockwool) thickness of only 27 mm fully absorb air noise. This is a bark dog, human speech, music and other sounds on high and middle frequencies. To get the maximum result will help knowledge of the nuances of the installation. Under the guide profiles that attach to walls, sex and ceiling, we recommend paving a sealing tape based on foamed polyethylene (3 mm thick). It reduces the transmission of acoustic vibrations through the soundproofing structure. Sheetworks of sheet materials should not be close to existing designs (floor and ceiling). It should be left between 2-5 mm gap, which, if necessary, can be filled with vibroacoustic sealant (single-component silicone), or pave a sealing tape.
