In the style of black and white cinema

Oddly enough, but the white walls are ideal for this apartment: in the case of cosmetic repair it will not be necessary to pick up the kel. In addition, the paint was chosen washable - and small pollution can be simply removed with a wet sponge

The author of the project tried to fit into the vision of the interior by the customer simple and unobtrusive, but at the same time make it not faceless. As a basis, a minimalistic Scandinavian style was taken with a support for IKEA furniture.

Kitchen

White walls and black furniture add a clarity to the interior, graphic, make it visually spacious.

Redevelopment

Given the purpose of the apartment, the redevelopment was not required and remained standard for this type of one-bedroom apartments. A small separate bathroom to unite also did not become, as it would not have made any improvement in conditions and would be uncomfortable for guests.

The kitchen is designed in the same black and white gamma as the room. The designer had to work well in search of a black refrigerator, which would stand under the tabletop, and a black washing machine. Open shelves instead of mounted cabinets and lack of curtains make the kitchen spacious

Repairs

Initially, the apartment was a dark space with 2.5 m ceilings and uneven walls, so the repair took most of the works. The main efforts were spent on the alignment of the walls. In order not to spend time and strength to bring the ceilings in a normal view using a large number of plaster and speed up the process, it was decided to install stretch designs in the apartment. Linoleum on the floors was replaced with a wear-resistant laminate, under which they made a new screed. Old window frames replaced on white plastic with double-glazed windows.

The loggia was insulated, finished PVC panels and glazed, the floor is tiled and covered with carpet. Chair and table made space with a cozy corner of rest

Design

The interior of the apartment is solved in a universal black and white color scheme. The ceilings do not seem so low due to white walls. Accents on such a neutral background are black household appliances, furniture in the kitchen and room, black and white accessories and sections of the walls behind the bed and in the hallway allocated by wallpaper.

Warm accents in the bathroom bring the mirror in a frame made of natural wood and a wooden substole under the sink, customized

In a laconic hallway, one of the walls is accented by wallpaper in an elegant black and white cage. Here, as in the room, there are no closed cabinets, instead of them - hooks and an open shelf for shoes.

"Raise" low ceilings

To get rid of the grace of impressions that produce low ceilings, the designer proposed to make most of the surfaces with white, flowing into each other without visible border and use flat overhead lamps. Separate parts of the walls were focused by wallpaper with a vertically-oriented ornament, which also contributes to a visual increase in height.

Bedroom living room

In this project it was important to find a balanced solution so that the apartment would not turn into an absolutely faceless hotel room, deprived of comfort and individuality. I wanted housing to cause positive emotions. The owner, a big fan of the Scandinavian style and furniture IKEA, asked for exactly this direction. I offered him a choice of several color solutions, and he stopped on a black and white version, as the most understandable to everyone and everyone. By the time the repair began repairing the apartment was in the launched state, I had to change the screed, wiring. And the white surfaces and bright floors of the natural wood colors visually immediately increased the volume of rooms, carefully selected black and white accessories and accents in the finish added individuality.
