Loft bathroom: brickwork, vintage elements and modern plumbing

To save the atmosphere of the house with a story, but to create a modern interior, the authors of the project offered the loft style: so managed to connect in design an old brickwork, natural tree, vintage parts and a laconic plumbing.

Clinic brick jumper over the window is a bright evidence of the age of the building. Is it possible to hide like this? Especially since the careful attitude towards history is a trend. That is why, when repairing the apartment, it was decided even in the bathroom to clean the brick walls from plaster, soak them with a hydrophobic composition and make the interior decoration.

The company's vintage walls were a vintage heating radiator, an open wiring, a rough wooden substole under the sink. Authentic elements skillfully intertwined with new ones. Take at least a ceiling lamp - a gas lamp is guessed in its design.

Plumbing is deliberately modern, the selected loft style is quite allowed. Here are just the preparatory work for its installation took away a lot of time, it took a complete replacement of pipes and other plumbing filling.

A small bathroom with a non-standard a priorine window is folded in the alignment of plumbing, besides "tied" to the risers. It is good that the customer understood it, and also felt the desired color gamut: the interior is made in warm beige shades, which are perfectly combined with brick masonry. Materials were chosen natural or the most natural as possible. The hostess principally did not want a bath, preferring a spacious shower. However, ready-made models did not fit the style and sizes, because of which the cabin it was necessary to make a project. A wardrobe placed between the window and the shower area (the boiler also placed in it). From the outside of the wall of the cabin are complemented by holders for bathrobes and towels. The window is saved in the original form, the wide windowsill is used to store cosmetics jars.
