Of all the variety of types of humidifiers, ultrasound humidifiers were most common. They really have a number of advantages over the other types.

- Low power consumption. In most models of ultrasound humidifiers, it does not exceed 20-40 W. The greatest level of energy consumption in steam humidifiers. With equal performance, this technique consumes an order of magnitude more energy (500-600 W).
- Low noise. In ultrasound humidifiers there are no moving parts and, most importantly, there are no fans, unlike, say, from the air and humidifiers of the traditional type. Hence the complete absence of sounds when working.
- Ultrasound moisturizers, traditional type and sink humidifiers do not heat the air during operation. And steam humidifiers are heated. In the presence of heating, such an excess heating is a disadvantage.
- Ultrasound humidifiers are characterized by compactness. The moistening mechanism itself is the size of the postage stamp itself, so nothing surprising that there are very tiny ultrasonic humidifiers on sale, while quite workable.
- Attractive price and variety of model range. Now there is a huge number of models of ultrasound humidifiers, differing in productivity and duration of work, and in design. As for prices, thanks to Chinese producers, the prices of ultrasonic humidifiers are much lower than on the humidifiers of other types. Thus, it is easy to find an ultrasonic humidifier worth about 1 thousand rubles, a traditional type humidifier will cost a minimum of 3-4 thousand rubles, and the steam humidifier will most likely be more expensive.
