A married couple living in the center of the metropolitan metropolis surrounds the creative and cheerful atmosphere of the seventies, permeated with memories of the music of that time. Aesthetics Pop Art helped overcome obstacles to the embodiment of the owners' desires and, despite the modest area and low ceilings, create a bright apartment to "live long and happily."

The stunning panorama of the city opens from the large windows of the apartment panel high-rise building built in the 70s. last century. It was she, as well as the age of the house served as a "starting point" in search of suitable forms and color gamut. Aura of the musical improvisation, which was suggested to create the author of the project, did not require expensive investments, but needed an accurate hit of color chords and in the square, it was supposed to provide studio planning of the public zone, a few of the details in the bedroom and a small office. Redevelopment
The elongated rectangle of the apartment without carrier inner walls is convenient for rational planning: on one long side, the tape of four windows stretches, with the opposite, there are entrance to the apartment and small protrusions. Repairs
In the apartment I had to replace all the dilapidated partitions, putting out new foam blocks, remove the screed and perform a new one, shook the walls and ceilings. Flooring was performed from laminate and porcelain tile, the walls were painted in light gray, creating a great background for sonorous colors. The protrusions of the beams so as not to reduce the height of the ceilings behind the tail structures, beat in the corridor with the help of color, painting higher sections in a dark tone.The kitchen and the bedroom equipped with air conditioning, the external blocks were placed on a technical balcony. The windows left the previous one, only adjusted the mechanisms; The window sills were made of plastic, and in the office and kitchen - from MDF, increasing their width so that they accumulate part of the workstables. The walls and floor of the bathroom were issued in the achromatic range using asymmetric compositions of the composition, in order to cover the scale.
Design
Although bright details in the apartment are a bit, it gives the impression of a very cheerful, multicolor space. It's all about choosing accent details and their skillful placement, thoughtful combinations of flowers on a neutral gray background, which in other conditions could create dissonances.
Gray optically expanded the boundaries, shut up the transitions from one part of the interior to the other, "raised" the ceilings. The same purpose also serves a narrow partition that separates the kitchen from the living room and its proportions that creates the effect of the column optically pulling the interior in height.
The real volume of the partition between the corridor and the kitchen effectively masks the photoconduct with the fragmentary image of Cadillac. It corresponds to the relief of the ceiling and lamps
On a shortened distance separating the functional zones, each detail requires perfect reconciliation with a selected aesthetics, the more so unusual as pop art. And therefore, most of the small objects of furniture attached to the interiors a special taste of retro - not so long, but very emotional and liberated, it was executed on the order by the author's sketches of the project.

In the living room, this is a coffee table-coofer, similar to a case for storing musical instruments, a chest of drawers with a ring of the middle of the fifties painted on one of the door of the middle of the fifties, another chest of inscriptions on drawers (clarifying, for storage of which is intended), there is also the same in the bedroom. It is very important when designing interiors take into account the time context - when the house was built, as its space surrounds. In modern conditions, this rarely pay attention to, and a pity - the potential of aesthetic opportunities is far from mastered. In the sketches that I suggested the owners, I wanted to create an image of a breakthrough into the music of Strings of the Seventies (The Beatles, Jimi Hendricks, and others), for which the Spirit of Places did, because the new Arbat was built just at that time. The owners with enthusiasm voted literally with four hands, the repair ended quickly, and the result still pleases the owners. Since one of the conditions was a very limited budget, I had to find domestic manufacturers who were made to order and cheaper than the purchase; The main flooring is laminate, warm floor is equipped with a bathroom, kitchen and hallway.
