Installation of architectural elements
Most decorative elements are mounted on pins (Ø 6-12 mm) and glue. Galvanized studs are used as pins, stainless steel rods, primed fittings and other fasteners (anchor hooks, bolts, etc.). They are necessary for the initial installation of the product and its retention in case of emergency destruction of the adhesive layer. The base should be durable and even to ensure reliable fixation of fasteners, withstand the mass of the decorative element and prevent an excessive increase in the thickness of the adhesive layer. Works start with marking the base and installation of pins. In accordance with them, mark the opposite side of the element. Then the element is hung and its position is adjusted so that the seams between the mating elements are about 5 mm. After that, the decor is mounted on glue and do not move to complete drying.
