When choosing kitchen cabinets, we do not always attach the value of such an important component of comfort as the way to open the door. And only during operation we are convinced that it is inconvenient to use some sections. First of all, we are talking about extreme modules bordering the wall. Is it possible to avoid a similar error?

The problem of which will be discussed is related to traditional swing doors, in an open state occupying a lot of space. Moreover, leaving the door open, you risk stumble upon it. For example, with a linear construction of the kitchen, the flood facades in extreme modules are generally undesirable. The handle resting in the wall will not allow you to open the cabinet completely and will drop the surface. In typical kitchens of the old sample, one of the walls are the washing, which is located on which the module is located equipped with a dryer with dishes. If the door opens on the left side, you will not be able to pull the pallet from the dryer - you have to dismantle the handle. A right-hand opening is not too convenient - the facade will block you during the washing of dishes. However, there is a way out, and not one.

The most economical way is to leave a small (5 cm) gap between the wall and the cabinet and disguise it with a false, imitating a single cabinet case. And so that the handle does not beat about the wall, they should put special loops with an angle of opening strictly 90 °. This option is suitable for both the top and lower tier. But if each centimeter on the account, the more modern and economical solution for the hintage doors will be the TIP-ON system, which allows you to open and close the facades without a handle by means of a slight press.

Practical advice
When ordering the facades of the facades "try" them on them: If you are low growth, it will be difficult for you to return to the place raised sash.
For the same reason, choose folding doors carefully (they capture two panels of the high facade at once).

For the top tier cabinets, it is more convenient for the facade with lifting mechanisms (Blum, Hettich, etc.), which smoothly and silently lean up. Thus, you get access to the entire inner space of the locker, and the open door does not interfere with working, and you do not feel concern to stumble upon it. The design of the facade depends on the type of lifting mechanism.
Folding. The high facade equipped with this mechanism and rises up. And it can be adjusted so that the door is fixed in an intermediate, convenient position for you, or immediately closed.
Folding. The door with such a mechanism leans from the bottom up, having silent at the top point in the visor position. The folding mechanism is most often used in wide wall closets located under the kitchen ceiling.
Vertical. In the model with a vertical mechanism, the door shifts forward and rises up parallel to the facades, opening all the internal space of the cabinet. However, when designing furniture, it is necessary to calculate the distance from the roof of the cabinet to the ceiling so that the door can fully open.
Turning. In this embodiment, the door rises up and is located horizontally, at right angles to the facade. This is a classic lifting mechanism, when installing which it is necessary to envisage that the door in the open position is high enough (but not at the level of the head).
Save with the mind
Often when ordering a kitchen, we begin to think painfully, on what can be saved. And we make a way of saving the way to open the door, choosing budget disintegration and refusing advanced mechanisms that guarantee more comfortable use. "Stuffing" really costs weekly (sometimes it is equal to the cost of furniture), but also savings on it leaves sideways. Of course, there is always a chance to update old lockers and set new mechanisms on them. But at the same time, it may have to change the facades. In addition, not all firms are taken for such alterations.
Shutters-blinds

One of the fashion trends in the organization of modern cuisine - door-blinds instead of swinging and even folding facades. Blinds (shutter doors) are removed inside the cabinet, shifting strictly vertically on the guides. They are particularly relevant in linear compositions and serve as an alternative to swing. Curtains with plastic lamella, wood, metal are very convenient, and allow them to be used both in the lower and in the upper tier. They are not limited to the size of the sections - from the lamellae, you can collect the canvas of any width.

Another (less common) version of the replacement of disintegration doors - sliding panels from shockproof glass or other materials equipped with a "Terno" mechanism. They move along the guides in parallel to each other - similar to the doors in the cabinets. Sliding facades are suitable for kitchens in a modern spirit and are used in cabinets not only upper, but also lower tiers. Such facades are in the closed state are built into the line, and during the work of the door can hide one for another, which is very convenient. The disadvantage of this system is the inability to access all cabinets at the same time.
We advise it if possible to abandon the hinting doors not only in the lower tier, but also in the upper mounted cabinets. As a last resort, leave the minimum of such designs.

The concept of open modules is the desire to visually unload the room, as well as to break the monolithic system of deaf facades. And not only at the top of the kitchen, but also in the bottom. Open sections provide ample opportunities for those who like to decorate the kitchen with cute decorative objects. In such sections in the upper tier, it is convenient to store tea dishes, and in the lower kitchen utensils.

The modern organization of the kitchen space assumes that the main weight load falls on the lower tier where even those objects that previously stored in the upper cabinets are removed. Alternative to the cabinets with static shelves and a swing door are drawers of various configurations. They are much more convenient to use, besides, their content is available and projected. Manufacturers focus on widescreen, extended to the entire depth boxes. They can store anything - from small things to heavy utensils (drawers withstand a lot of 30-80 kg). Traditional facades of classic kitchens also hide retractable systems. High rear and side walls, as well as internal delimiters help contain a box in impeccable order.
