Conditionally they were divided into mandatory and desirable. From the latter only one thing is really important: the device is obliged to prepare. Or warm up food. Mandatory three.
First, the furnace should be installed without a special foundation, directly to the floor. Secondly, very quickly warm the room (preferably 15-20min after the start of burning of firewood). Thirdly, to maintain heat as long as possible, which is ensured by the presence of special, fast heating and long cooling elements, as well as special design elements, thanks to which the firewood is burning for a longer time than usual.
We think these wishes are quite fair for the country fireplace. In accordance with them, we prepared a new review, additionally tightening the selection of models by two more requirements:
Since it is only about the country, and not about a country house (cottage) for permanent residence, the cost of the fireplace should not exceed 3500-4000;
The fireplace should be sold fully ready for installation.
The last point needs some explanation. The fact is that the basis of the design of all the heating fireplaces offered by the modern market (except for the classic, open, laid out on the spot from the brick and the materials similar to it) is a metal furnace closing the door with glass. If a smoke pipe is connected to such a "fireplace", in principle, fire can already be breeding in it. But, as you understand, the furnace plus the pipe is not yet a heating unit. An affordable view of such a device is nikudny. Yes, and snapping the room such a design will be a little better bourgear. This is due to the fact that there is only one method heating (infrared). The emission spectrum has two components: long-wave (like bourgeoque stoves) and short-wave (like fireplaces).
To improve the appearance of the product and add convection to the radiant method, the furnace is placed in the casing. These devices can be attributed both to the furnaces and to the scenis, which is why they were allocated to a special group fireplaces from time immemorial. Their first combines, first of all, the fact that the furnace is equipped with the door, the truth is large and glazed, resembling a window rather than the usual cast-iron sash. But the last minute launches always remain in sight, which creates the illusion of the fireplace. In its internal device, monoblock structures closer to the fireplaces than to the furnaces. There are practically no bends in the way of burning products (except for "fireplace tooth" - the protrusion at the top of the rear wall of the furnace, which is enveloped by hot gases before entering the pipe). The interior furnace on the path of combustion products has one or two bends, and, making through such a "labyrinth", hot gases give warmly much more successful. Father, that this is still a fireplace, speaks lower than that of furnaces, efficiency - 50-75%. Compact Fireplaces
These small heating devices (height - from 60 to 110cm, width, from 45 to 80cm, depth - from 40 to 80 cm) we call in different ways, but most often by fireplace furnaces. Abroad, compact fireplaces appeared more than thirty years ago, we began to be sold for two dozen years later, but, nevertheless, we managed to gain popularity. IETO is not surprising. In appearance, this is really a fireplace. Let the small, but present, no electrical imitation. You can admire fire in your pleasure, the fire furnace is clearly visible. There is even a woodnress, from which there is no comparable smell of freshly smelted wood.
Design. Compact fireplaces made from durable (some manufacturers even heat-resistant) sheet steel 4-6mm and cast iron, which is used in the furnaces. These materials dictate design and production technology. We are simply "drawer" with clear straight corners, it is simply provided with clear straight corners, at best, equipped with an arched roof. The most expensive products are offered by foreign firms such as Hark and Max Blank (Germany), Supra and Godin (France), Harvia (Finland), Edilkamin, Piazzetta and Nordica (Italy) and some others.
Pellet fireplaces
The pellet fireplace is in principle the same caloric furnace-fireplace oven, only working on several other than firewood, the form of fuel pellets. They are loaded into a special container inside the fireplace and are fed into the firebox automatically using a screw conveyor, which makes it possible to control the combustion process and change thermal power. The dimensions of the device with an accommodation inside its fuel storage bunker are practically not changed - it remains small and compact.
The benefits of such fireplaces in front of the woods are immediately several. First, pellets have a large calorific value than firewood (there is no moisture in them). Secondly, the dense structure of the pellets significantly reduces the size of the repository for them. Packed in paper bags, clean and protected from external influences, pellets can be stored in the garage, storage room and even in residential premises. Thirdly, the combustion control is assigned to the microprocessor, it constantly optimizes the process, feeding a strictly dosed amount of air to the chamber. Finally, fourthly, when an emergency situation occurs, the processor stops the supply of fuel, and in a few minutes the flame goes out.
In general, you only have to load fuel into the chamber and set the desired power level (remotely adjustable). Everything else he will make for you himself and will automatically continue to work approximately 72ch- there is enough of one bag of pellets. Disadvantages of pellet fireplaces are also there. First, in Russia, the domestic market of pellet fuel is not formed. Secondly, the flame game in such a fireplace will not admire: the pellets are burning very peculiar. Alas!

Design and styles
On the methods of finishing compact devices it is worth staying in more detail. It is clear that the fireplace furnace case without decoration resembles a low-rotary metal cabinet. Manufacturers "pose" image of a fireplace not only by finishing, but also with the help of plastic form. Secondly, a beautiful pedestal is a very expensive thing, its cost can easily exceed 4000.
