Most of these devices have the same cleaning steps as nozzle filters - pre-filtration and sorption on activated carbon. But it is possible to meet products in which membrane-ceramic or "track" is used as one of the steps.
Classics of the genre
The classic desktop filter looks like an inverted truncated cone from opaque plastic on a stand, which exits "Nose" -Kran. It will have to improve the appearance of these devices. Manufacturers recently began to replace the opaque case transparent. So, the company "Geyser" offers a stationary filter "Geyser1U" in a transparent version. Both models are equipped with three types of cartridges: for soft, rigid and very hard water. The first of them - "Mini-Prima River" - has one transparent case, the second "mini-extra crossbar" - two: in one there is a pre-cleaning with a polypropylene winding cartridge (it can be replaced with a soften cartridge, dearness or removal of nitrates) , in friend, sorption on activated granular coal.
There are models with a specially designed design. For example, Aquaphor offers the AquaFor Modern Filter (only temporarily connected) in a white ellips-shaped case. Excellent design has a "Barrier-Optima" filter from Methem Technology. It connects to the kitchen tap in two ways: temporarily, with the help of an impaired fitting, or permanently, for which it is necessary to purchase a sivertor separately. The filter is equipped with a microprocessor resource indicator that will automatically remind you that it is time to change the cartridge.
Membrane filters
Membrane filters produce two firms: "Ecomambrane" and Keosan (South Korea).
"ECOMMBANS" offer three models of desktop devices for fine water purification of increased pollution series "Water Doctor ELIT" series. The final fine cleaning is performed by the "track membrane".
Modeled NEO-991 from Keosan as a first stage using a double ceramic membrane with a pore diameter of no more than 0.2 μm (silver was introduced). According to the manufacturer, it not only removes various solid inorganic and organic precipitation, suspension and rust, but also destroys bacteria. The estimated service life is about two years. The incidence of the second stage applies a coal sorption filter as well with the addition of silver with a resource from 5 to 7.5 m3 of water.
