Trends are constantly changing. There are those that remain for a long time, others have been forgotten after a few months. How do designers relate to trends? What are embodied, and what not? Learn personally.
1 Any short-term trends
Every year in the world of the interior, there are beautiful, but rapidly passing trends. Today in fashion can a huge lemon-yellow chair, and in a year it will hopelessly outreach and will be replaced by a purple couch.

2 Fashionable palette
Since the repair is usually updated infrequently, it makes no sense to copy the trendy color palette. Tatyana Zaitseva advises to adhere to a universal base and bring bright colors using easily replaced elements: textiles, decor and paintings. And if you want experiments and regular updates, choose a contrasting wall, and repaint it once a year.
3 Many gloss
"In 2021, various brilliant textures will be included in the list of trends," Galina and Igor Berezkin are warned. Mirrors, polished metal, metallized textiles need to be used very carefully: it is important not to overload the space with spectacular details.

4 Rough Forms and Lines
"A urban style with geometric strict lines and forms, the mixing of brutal textures is the current trend, but not everyone comes out," Galina and Igor Berezkin are sure. If the main task of the interior is the feeling of comfort and calm, it is better to abandon angularity and sharp contrasts. Instead, use a calm color gamut and elegant respectable textures.
5 imitation of natural materials
Of course, it is not always possible to use in the finish only natural finishing materials, mainly due to their high price. But it is better to plan a budget so as to replace part of artificial materials for nearby natural analogues.
"Instead of laminate, it is better to use a parquet board, replace acrylic surfaces on a natural stone. If you can allow you to do something in the house in a natural and ecologically, do it, "Tatyana Zaitseva advises.
"Laminate instead of a board, cheap paint, chipboard furniture instead of MDF or array is a one-time savings (saved at the time of repair, when there were a lot of spending, but after some time I regretted). 6 separate bath

7 large number of plants
Home plants fill the room with vitality and refresh the interior. But Galina and Igor Berezkina advise to abandon demanding colors in the care of flowers, in whose life a lot of business trips, long trips or just a very dense work schedule: "If the plants are deprived of attention, they will begin to adhere and get a sad or even a planic view that will not go In favor of your design. "
8 Public storage
"We are talking about a hallway and bedroom. Open hangers and hooks with jackets on the walls look untidy. Now they often combine the hallway from the living room and the kitchen, and this decor will not be the best solution. But in the dressing room, open storage is quite appropriate, "Alexander Gartke designer shares.
Also, according to the designer, it concerns the bedroom - it is better to put closed cabinets in it or with darkened glass facades.
9 folding furniture
Alexander Garthke designer does not advise to get involved in folding and multifunctional furniture.

The folding sofa can be put in the guest bedroom or the office, but it is better to choose elegant, comfortable and soft models for the living room. Always say that the interior must be design for yourself, not guests.
It is also not worth using a folding sofa as a dream room if there is at least some possibility to put a bed. There is a risk of as a result of getting an uncomfortable sleeping place, and an unsuccessful soft area of recreation. This decision can still be understood in the guest bedroom or the office, but in the living room - no.
In addition, the designer does not recommend putting folding tables: "It is extremely difficult to find an elegant folding model. Tables with a thin table top and leg look more elegant, but rarely come with a folding mechanism. "
