"We will tear down to threaten ..." No, we will not threaten the Swede nor Finn, but better tell about the new technology that came to us from Scandinavia.

The proceeds of glazing loggias and balconies in Sweden and Finland is strictly ordered by state legislation. What is the case in our country?

The appearance of the glazing of the previous numbers of the magazine has already been told about the glazing of the loggia using a plastic and aluminum profile. Along with the advantages: the ability to increase the living area of ​​the apartment (for the first embodiment), lightness and ease of operation (in transmission), these structures have one common drawback, wide vertical racks that prevent the passage of daylight, create a sensation of closed space. There is a desire to make them already or exclude at all. This is feasible, but the use in this case of ordinary glass can lead to sad consequences with careless handling.

The appearance of a glazed loggium is therefore in addition N2 to the MGNS 3.01-96 on fireproof requirements for residential buildings approved by the order of N625 dated July 13, 1999. The Government of Moscow, it is indicated that in balconies and loggias glass should be safe and reliable in operation, including including in extreme conditions (hurricane wind, fire, etc.). The state system was developed and approved by the first regulatory document TU 5270-001-47256184-99 "Windows of aluminum alloys for balcony glazing", which allows you to certify the glazing systems of the loggia or balcony.

In Europe, it has proven itself several designs with safe glass: Swedish Pingvin, Finnish Sopu, Cover, Lumon. They reflect the new idea of ​​glazing of the loggia or balcony and differ from each other with the mechanism of fixing and moving the glass used by the seal, as well as the material used. Out of them, safe glass is placed in a lightweight aluminum profile and is an element of design that provides its strength, so it should be not about the system of profiles, but about the glazing system. When developing new design schemes and technological solutions, attention is focused on the safety of such systems.

What glass is considered safe?

Glass is called safe in construction, if the fragments do not exceed 3 cm2 and do not have sharp edges, so they cannot cause injury or cut. It happens two types: single-layer tempered and multilayer.

Single-layer tempered Get the hardening of a fully prepared conventional "raw" glass (polished, cut-out "corrosion" and with a chamfer treated according to the contour) by heating to a temperature not higher than 780s and sharp cooling, from which the allowable destructive load increases more than three times. Thus, tempered glass, supplied by Mosavtoplasteklo CJSC, withstands the punch with a non-rigid test of up to 45kg from a distance of up to 13.5m, so you can not worry about your playing and swaming a child. When you hit the acute item, it is scattered on countless small fragments of the rounded form, which are almost impossible to cut. Its cost in seven or ten times higher than the value of ordinary sheet glass.

Of Multilayer glass Most often two-layer (duplex), three-layer (triplex) and special. The duplex is a sheet of glass, one side of which a transparent film made of layered plastic with a thickness of up to0.35mm is applied. The shape of this film (or a layer of up to 1.5 mm of a special hardened liquid) is located between the two sheets. Two-layer and three-layer glasses of the destroying load are 60-80% higher than that of the usual, and the fragments are not fluttered, and hold on the film and remain in the sash. The degree of heat and sound insulation in the Triplex above. The cost of these glasses, respectively, at eight or twelve and twelve and fifteen times higher than usual.

Special glass consists of several alternating layers of the polymer film and glass sheets (both ordinary and tempered) and is shockproof, bulletproof, fire-resistant and other types. Therefore, it is more expensive than usual in sixteen or more times.

Swedish specialists (Pingvin system) offer to install a two-layer glass (film inside) in aluminum flaps with a height of up to 2500mm and up to 1200-1500mm wide with a width of vertical racks of only 17mm. The sash moves along the guides sequentially, each other, but are not taken out of the frame, as with glazing with a conventional aluminum profile. They can be "refunded" in one of the corners of the loggia, like the book, with the help of a special turning mechanism with nylon rollers. Brush seal eliminates the gap between closed sash and ensures reliable tightness.

But that's not all! You can collect the entire outer wall of the glass loggia - from the bottom to the upper floor overlap. The purpose of the Pingvin system is provided by the possibility of mounting on a glass fencing loggia with a height of 1000-1200 mm.

In the Finnish Sopu, Cover, LUMON systems, a tempered glass is used, which allows you to abandon the vertical racks at all (with the exception of two side).

In your reporting, we will talk about the inexpensive certified SOPU system (the glazing of the loggia, LLC Company Finnish Balcony).

Measure using a special optical ruler that allows an error of no more than 2 mm, the size of the opening of the loggia.

Align the installation surface of the fence, for example, using a credit abrasive circle. All that is interferes with sufficient sealing, pre-cut the "grinder" with a cutting abrasive circle.

Apply the sealant to the top surface of the top low.

Attach the top tide to the top floor slab using anchor dowels.

Set up the level and secure the profile of the upper guide. To do this, use leveling wedges.

Secure two pairs of rotating nylon rollers on the upper passage of each canvase.

Secure the nylon disk and the latch on the lower passage of each canvase.

Install the windowsill on the fencing of the loggia and secure it.

In the SOPU system of the translucent fencing of the loggia is assembled at the place of installation of four aluminum profiles 50-75 mm wide and a depth of 42mm: two horizontal guide-upper and lower and two side vertical direct and right, which are previously manufactured in the workshop. The first two profiles are fastened with anchor dowels to the upper floor overlap and to the upper (installation) plane of the fence, and the vertical stands to the side walls of the loggia. After fixing the inner side of all four profiles form one plane. This eliminates the gap between the glasses and the brush seal provided by the loggia throughout the perimeter of the frame. To ensure such sealing, the opening of the loggia is pre-measured with an accuracy of 2 mm using a special sliding optical ruler.

Practical recommendations

Do not forget to fix the cloth of the last closed glass with a latch after the next "lineing" of the glass wall so that it does not knock with strong wind gusts.

When forming on glass condensate, do not despair! Operate the extreme glass of glass using the position clamp at least one division, and through 3 minutes the problem will be solved.

When moving the glass web should be taken from two sides in the middle of the height to eliminate its skew under the action of its own weight relative to the guides and ensure the smoothness of the stroke.

Periodically wipe the dry winding parts of the glass fastening mechanism from dust and remove the dirt from the guides with a vacuum cleaner. To preserve the smoothness of the movement of glass molding for a long time, do not use machine oil for lubrication, and it is better to purchase a silicone spray, for example, in the Finnish Balcony Company LLC.

The cloth of tempered glass is no more than 880 mm wide and no more than 2000 mm altay in the grooves of these guides. To strengthen the upper and lower edges of the canvas on them in the workshop, narrow passes from the aluminum profile are placed. Glass is a less durable material than aluminum, and lower roller supports, which are used to move the flaps from the aluminum profile, are not suitable for it. That is why the canvas of safe glass is suspended with a pair of dual roller supports, rolling on the shelves of the upper guide, and at the bottom slides along the groove of the lower guide, without touching the bottom. Rollers are mounted on the upper passage, the nylon rotary disk and the guide support are installed on the lower. The glass is cut out of the large sheets with glass cutter with an accuracy of 0.1mm on a special table with computer control. Safety speakers between vertical edges of two adjacent glass weapons leave a gap in 2mm. To set it exactly, one of the pairs of dual rollers of any canvase is equipped with an adjusting screw. For each canvas in height, transparent plastic sealing pads covering this gap are worn. Runs are made protruding at a distance of 1mm on each side of the glass to avoid when moving the possible sudden blows of clutches each other. The extreme left and right canvases are adjacent to the side racks.

Strengthen one glass sheet in the top guide using the rollers and set up the level relative to the top bottom guide, only then lock it using an anchor dowels.

Secure the right and left racks on the sides, after inserting their grooves into the upper and lower guides.

Install the bottom tide on the lower guide and secure it with rivets.

When installing each glasses of glass, adjust the position of the nylon support on the lower passage.

Fill out the gap around the perimeter of the fencing with silicone sealant.

The design of the glass wall allows you to fold it with a book in which it can be up to seven "pages" on each side.

A protective-decorative coating is applied to the entire aluminum profile: an electrochemical thickness of 0.02mm or a paintwork is 0.06mm (color can be any NCS scale). They are durable, do not fade, are not subject to corrosion over the prolonged exposure of moisture.

The narrow gap between the frame and the building during installation is exhibited quite accurately with the help of special metal plates and fill with silicone sealant. It protects the design from the penetration of dust, as well as from the isozhoshi and land.

The windowsill usually make a plastic thickness of up to40mm and up to 300mm width. It not only gives an aesthetic view of the translucent fence, but also serves as an aligning support for the lower guide of the aluminum profile installed on it. Opening side top and bottom are made two metal lowers.

How much will the glazing of the loggia or the balcony LLC '' Company Finnish Balcony '' by Sopu?

The manufacture and installation of the simplest design of the aluminum profile with a tempered glass of 6mm thick CJSC "Mosavtoplasko", the upper and lowest differences will cost $ 250m2.

The use of special glass instead of hardened will increase the cost accordingly.

You can apply a reflective coating on the glass, which is quite impressive for the apartment on the sunny side ($ 20-50 m2, depending on the selected degree of reflection in%).

Thermal insulation to-coating or I-coating is ineffective, since the main proportion of thermal losses for this glazing system occurs due to the air convection and thermal conductivity of the fencing material.

As a result, the price of the given order version was $ 1975, of which $ 1925-glazing 7.7 m2 of the opening of the loggia (1.84.28m) and $ 50- installation of the window sill (exclude material cost).

In the corner of the upper guide, a three-position position retainer is provided, which allows you to open the cloth in the glass wall, and thereby adjust the air exchange with the external environment. As in the Pingvin system, you can compose all the web on the principle of the book open inwards.

The problem of alignment of the design vertical design is peculiar to: the lower guide is set relative to the top using one of the glass weaves. If the width of the existing fencing of the loggia turns out to be insufficient, then instead of an additional fence, which is mounted using PVC profiles, in the SOPU system to displace the glass plane to the outside (for a distance of no more than 50mm), a steel plate is used with a thickness of 8mm. It is pre-fixed to the upper flooding of the floor with anchor dowels, and already to her profile of the upper guide.

If desired, make the glass and the top and lower fencing of the loggia in the SOPU system uses the steel pipe of the rectangular cross section. They collect a deaf frame, which is assembled either from the outside of the existing fencing of the loggia, or instead. Empty using a narrower metal profile is installed as tempered glass, as at the top.
