What preferred in the interior of a woman? Asked to share their designers experience. Opinions turned out quite different, however, as all women are individuality above all.

Hence the preference of closed storage systems for open shelves and racks, the refusal of "curly" decor elements (stucco, carved platforms of doors, baluster at each stage, lush porter).
However, minimalism in its pure form. The owner of an apartment or cottage will want to diversify the objects of textiles, decor, accessories - so as to give comfort and emphasize individuality in space.
Also with the loft. The fan of the urban loft agrees to the walls under concrete, but the selected coating will be not rough, but smooth, pleasant when touched. They often choose warm textured materials: wood, textiles, rattan. You can rarely meet a woman who wants to make a stone or rust effect into the interior.
As for the purely practical side: women usually want to see in their apartment separate household rooms, where it would be possible to quietly do households. There, they will gladly move the washing machine from the bathroom. Ironing facilities, stepladers and harvesting equipment will also move there.

From your experience, I brought an interesting observation: by how a woman is dressing, you can guess what interior solutions it will come to taste. Of course, this is not a dogma, but there is some regularity.
If, for example, a woman likes several extravagant shoes, it is prone to deep saturated shades in the interior. And a woman preferring to the clothes of brands "with history" is likely to choose a classic or even Provence. By the way, sportswear, oddly enough, can also be attributed to the "classics" - stucco, calm shades, natural materials. Monochrome appearance, without bright color elements in clothing - a hint that a woman can like bright interiors with elements of the 50-60s style, the inclusion of modern painting and interesting bright items.
Women love curtains, fully blocking light, unlike men who are less likely to choose "curtains". Floral, plant motifs in female tastes are dominated over geometry.
A separate attention of women is drawn to lighting: a variety of light scenarios, dimmable light sources, the location of the lighting in the mirrors (it is advisable to make it double on the sides, and not a single top), since it is usually aware of the make-up mirror effect.

Any interior begins with the correct layout. Now often, at the request of customers, I make individual bathrooms - female and male. And the female bathroom produces maximum attention: decoration, lighting, filling and mood. Female interior must be very sensitive, it is special.
