The author of the project mixed up modern style with Pop Art notes - on such a bold designer's step inspired the image of the owner of the apartment. It turned out an unusual interior that I want to consider in detail.
Customers and tasks
One bedroom apartment is located in the city of Lyubertsy in the new building LCD Lubertetsky. The owner is an art director of a large cosmetic company.
"For the first time, the customer wrote to me in social networks with the question of developing a design project. In the pictures, I saw a very bright, daring, charismatic girl with a storm haircut, in a fashionable overalls that led an active life - concerts, meetings with friends. The space of the apartment was needed to optimize the needs of the hostess: arrange a separate bedroom, to provide an isolated zone with a sleeping place where guests can stay, place a kitchen-living room with a dining area, and, of course, do not forget about storage systems.
Redevelopment
The initial layout did not comply with the wishes of the customer. Therefore, the author of the project proposed to reform the apartment. "When I first went to this object, I saw a very long dark corridor, one side of which there was a lot of small rooms. The space reminded me of a communal apartment. The feeling of gloominess enhanced gray concrete walls, "recalls Eugene. In the process of redevelopment, part of the undesupply partitions were removed, combining the kitchen with a living room and a loggia (the customer decided not to put the door to the loggia, the project was provided - approx. Designer).
In the living room separated the guest bedroom with high glass partitions. There were placed sofa and chest. And with the help of vertical rails, the hallways are made.
In the bedroom allocated a dressing room, which hides behind the sliding doors. It was also possible to carve a place for the storeroom in the hallway.
Finish
In the finish preference to modern materials. The walls were painted in all areas, laminate laminated on the floor, in wet zones and on the apron - porcelain stoneware under marble and tree.
Furniture and storage systems
In the apartment there are two main storage spaces - this is a storage room in the input zone and a dressing room with a bedroom. Both are equipped with IKEA: Algoth and Pax systems. Open racks height to ceiling in the living room are designed to store books and decor.
The choice of furniture combined finished products and objects to order. So, the built-in furniture is made specifically for the project, and among the finished - sofa, bed - bought in Russian stores.
Small items, for example, a quilted table, shelves in the hallway, bar chairs, chosen from IKEA. At the same time, they are inscribed in the interior so that they do not look template.
Lighting
The project has several light scenarios. There is a common light, as well as lamps and table lamps. Special attention is attracted by a linear luminaire in the living room, which goes from the ceiling on the wall. "He allowed to visually change the geometry of space, we finally left this taking away from a long dark apartment, he also stressed the advantages of the entire interior," the designer commented.
The hallway is decorated in bright colors. This allowed visually to expand a small zone. Brightness space gives colored rails that separate the hallway from the living room as well as the picture on the wall.
Color
The interior is built on the game of contrasts. On the walls alternate graphite and almost white, even in one room, different surfaces are painted in different ways, and it is not by chance. For example, in the living room wall behind the sofa is painted into a deeper graphite, the lighter wall with a TV on the contrary. "We made a room with cozy, light and dynamic. And these colors "revealed" the green color of the sofa. Supplementing the space with juicy bright accents - green, black, red, we achieved an incredible combination, "says Evgenia.

We immediately refused the idea of the interior of the apartment only in the style of pop art, after all, even an adult, even if an active person, in a small space, is very difficult to live. But we left the notes of this style: created comfort with colored paintings, bright sofa pillows with patterns, coffee table, bed linen with prints. For the interior in the style of pop art, glossy surfaces are characterized, so we made a glossy porcelain stonework on the apron. Different tones of gray on the walls created the illusion of the placement of the wrong shape. By this we distracted attention from the elongated room.
Pop Art is suitable for young active people who love shocking solutions and are not afraid to shock others. Immersing in this style, the main thing for me was the correspondence of the state of the soul of the owner of the apartment, an understanding how comfortable it will live in it. The time has now passed, and the customer is enjoying his apartment. So everything was done right.
