Blue Kitchen, Kilima Carpets, Blue Sofa - This apartment combines modern comfort, oriental motifs and classic details. And the space is also thought out so that it is comfortable to all family members, including a homemade pet.
Customers and tasks
Customers - a young family with a 6-year-old son and a dog. In his first apartment, they wanted to create a bright individual interior with oriental notes with a mandatory place to receive guests, functional storage systems and a separate economic bathroom with a sink, where you could wash your favorite PSA.
Dog Viti - family member. The owners wanted to make a separate bathroom in household integers with a large shell to follow the hygiene pet.
During the repair, the family traveled and did not control the process, they completely trusted the project to the architect Darya Mostzkina.
Redevelopment
Initially, the apartment was three-room. To combine the kitchen and the living room, dismantled the nonsense wall between them and the partition between the corridor and the kitchen. This made it possible to get a single large space.
Finish
In the hallway and the kitchen laid a porcelain stonework with a single coating without the spawns, in the living rooms - the living room, bedroom and children's engineering board. The walls are painted with washing paint in a light gray shade. The TV zone in the living room was allocated with a porcelain stoneware, and the sofa placed a decorative speed to give an additional softness of the recreation area.
Ceramic sink in the kitchen, placed by the window, was one of the requirements of customers. IKEA chose and specially designed the kitchen to order to be able to build such a sink. Window slopes are decorated with an architectural plywood with a veneer.
In the bedroom on the walls of the paint, the collar coating for the visual combination of space was used in the working area. In the children's walls are decorated with eco-friendly paper wallpaper. In the bathrooms combined two types of porcelain stoneware - with texture for wood and concrete.
The carpet that took its place on the wall was chosen from the IKEA assortment. This is a kilim handmade.
Storage and furniture systems
In all rooms there are hidden embedded storage systems. In the nursery, these are cabinets in the form of a house that look like elements of the bed: they merge with the interior and focus on the bed zone. The bed machine was a dream of a child and its main wish.
The use of natural materials was very important for customers. Almost all the furniture is made to order from MDF under painting or MDF with wood veneer.
In the bedroom, the cabinets are built along the wall and combined with the desktop.
For storage of household supplies, the second bathroom is adapted. There is also a dog shell.
Lighting
Three lighting scenarios are implemented in the apartment. First and basic - point lamps. The second (accent) - chandeliers above the table in the kitchen and above bedside tables. And the third scenario - the backlight, mounted in the ceiling, to create a cozy atmosphere.
The bedspread in the bedroom was completed. The drawing of the screed was created and thought out separately. This proves once again how important it is to pay attention to the details.
Color
The color palette of the interior sends to Eastern aesthetics: light walls and bright accents in the form of blue facades in the kitchen, blue sofa and pillows in red and orange shades in the living room, carpets on the floor and on the wall. In the bedroom, the blue, in the nursery - mustard and emerald-green became accent.
In the guest bathroom, the dog's sink was to be concrete, but in order to save items, an artificial stone was chosen.
Architect Daria Mostkina, author of the project:
The main task was to create a bright individual interior. The owner of the Eastern roots apartments, we wanted to emphasize this feature and add some eastern accents. Therefore, several carpets appeared in the interior (on the floor and even on the wall). In such an interior, even the most cloudy day seems cheerful.
