What you need

• One or two metal hoops of different diameters.
• Cord from natural material.
• Material for winding hoop (it is better to choose exactly the same as for weaving, it will look more beautiful).
• Glue.
• Scissors.

How to calculate the length of the rope

It depends on what kind of hoop you choose how much you will pull the rope and what the cells will make it.

Furize the diameter of the hoop. For the threads that you will mount in the middle of the hoop, the resulting value multiplied by 4. For shorter ropes attached to the edge of the hoop, multiply the diameter to 2. Next to the two obtained numbers, add 50-60 cm for nodes. Such a calculation is suitable for strongly stretched ropes, if you want the material a little resolved and was softer, lay extra long.

Separately, calculate the slings. For inclined design, the rear slings make shorter front. Measure the required length yourself, it depends on the height to which you want to hang the chair.
