The history of the structures of brick walls is not one hundred years. The material similar to modern - in the form of Brousa, appeared in Russia in XV. The decorative thin-walled brick is attached to a smooth, clean, dry base "wet" method - with the help of cement glue, leaving small seams (1cm) between the elements. The reliability of fixation is determined by the quality of glue, suture grout, the qualification of the master and ... weather conditions. It is best if the outdoor temperature is higher than zero, or rather, from 5 to 25 s. Of course, the thermometer column dropped below 5 seconds, it is necessary to use special materials and special technologies. The first is the frost-resistant glue, which includes special additives, allowing to operate at negative temperatures (up to -5 s, and sometimes to -10 s). As for technologies, it is necessary to equip warm-cold weather. For this purpose, scaffolding is tightened with a polyethylene film. Inside, the heat gun is installed and the air and the base of the walls are heated to 8 s. And the temperature should be maintained not only during the cladding process, but also for three days after its completion, until the cement glue is gaining 90% of the strength.
Obviously, the cost of "winter" works is significantly higher than the warmer period. Although in the heat it is worth being alert. At very high temperatures, the cement adhesive solution quickly loses moisture and often does not have time to dial the necessary strength. In addition, it is undesirable to leave just laid bricks under the rays of the scorching sun, it is better to sharpen them for two or three days.
After cladding the walls of the seams between the elements is sealed with a special cement grout. Wet mass is applied with the help of a building pistol or a homemade "syringe" made from the package, a tube IT.P., waiting for 30-40 minutes, while it serves, and then smash the spatula.
From the quality of installation of thin-walled brick, the durability of the finish and the aesthetics of the facade or interior are largely dependent. If you fulfill all the recommendations of the material producer, the finish will serve not one dozen years.
