Active young couple waiting for the kid bought a small apartment in Khimki near Moscow and wanted to equip her for a few years, while the child is small. From a small space, it was necessary to get a maximum of benefit and comfort, as well as to equip the closed bedroom with a large bed.
Customers did not have a clear premises style requirement, but they liked bright interiors. Therefore, the designer made modern space with simple furniture forms, and at the expense of colored and textured accents the interior looks interesting and unusual. We tell how it was.
Redevelopment
In the original plan, the apartment was a classic odnushku with an isolated room, a kitchen, separate bathrooms and a pretty big loggia.
In the redevelopment process, they combined the kitchen and the living room, and the bedroom was equipped with an apartment in the far corner, extinguishing it with sliding glass partitions and sharpening with curtains, which also contribute to additional sound insulation. There are no windows in this corner, but their absence compensates for good ventilation.
The bathrooms united, but even after that the space remained small to accommodate there and a full-fledged bath for swimming the baby, and a washing machine, as well as a place for swaddling. As a result, sacrificed a long bath. This allowed to place the plumbing and make a large tumb with a sink and a built-in washing machine.
The loggia was divided into two parts, insulated and at its expense increased the space of the kitchen-living room. Redevelopment fully legalized.
Finish
The selection of finishing materials was due to the availability - as the repair required to do quickly, they needed the goods that are in stock, or with rapid delivery time.
The walls originally wanted to paint, but, since the apartment is located in a new building, they abandoned the paint (cracks can go on the walls on the walls) and chose wallpaper under painting with the effect of painted walls. Visually coverage looks like paint, but possible flaws will not be as noticeable.
The wall at the bar rack is the most difficult "knot" in the apartment. In the process of redeveloping and demolition, the walls between the kitchen and the room remained the heating pipes - in the center of the apartment and in a prominent place. The task has also complicated the fact that the TV was planned over the rack. To hide the pipes, the designer came up with an unusual reception - to place the wall with decorative slats. Through them strengthened supports on which bracket for TV. Vertical radiators on both sides support lines of the rails and visually slightly increase the overall height of the room.
For a kitchen apron and an accent wall in the living room, one material was chosen - porcelain stoneware. Thus, they wanted to achieve visual integrity of the premises. In the living room above the sofa of the porcelain stoneware laid decorative panels. The selected collection visually and tactically reproduces the structure of the aged tree. Color range of panels Specifies the color solution of the entire interior - the texture of a tree, supplemented with green, yellow and blue shades, was used in the decoration.
On the floor in the kitchen-living room laminate under light oak.
The bathroom finish was chosen longer. What I liked, did not fit in style and it was necessary to order, and the deadlines did not allow. After long searches, a porcelain stoneware was chosen, which is slightly different in style from finishing the entire apartment, but creates a relaxing mood in a small bathroom.
Color
Customers wanted the interior to be calm, but with bright accents. Since the room is very sunny, it is a bit "cooled" - they painted gray and added some graphic elements in Loft style: black frame partition, vertical radiators, black track lamps and suspended geometric chandeliers.
Colored accents are in the living room and kitchen - it is a combination of blue and green tones. The bedroom was made light and more relaxed: a light tree with a gentle-salad wall of walls is combined. Green chose no coincidence - this is a natural color that contributes to calmness.
Furniture and storage systems
The apartment has many built-in wardrobes (in the hallway, bedroom, on the loggia) - according to the designer, the standard furniture refused to use a small space to use a small space. And the built-in wardrobes merge with the walls and do not clutter the room.
Despite the compactness of the kitchen, it accommodates everything you need. The dining area is solved by a bar, under it also placed cabinets for storage.
In the bedroom, instead of bed, a large podium 2x2 meters from the tree was designed. Under it - retractable boxes, which can also be used for storage. Side of the podium is planned to put a crib.
The sofa was chosen folding. At the same time it is comfortable both for seating and for sleep.
Lighting
When planning the lighting, the main thing was to make comfortable scenarios so that in a small apartment it was possible to allocate different zones. Since the ceiling height after finishing has become only 2.6 meters, built-in light and small overhead lamps. Decorative suspensions are mounted in the sofa area and above the bar.
According to the designer, the required point was the planning of night lighting - and for a family with a small child, this is especially important, since at night will have to get up often. To do this, they planned the LED backlight in the outdoor plinth in the corridor and in the bathroom above the installation.
Designer Tatyana Maslennikova, the author of the project:
Design of windows and generally textiles I consider one of the most important points that affect the general type of premises. In my opinion, it is necessary to approach the choice of textiles very responsibly and thoughtfully. Very cheap and incorrectly selected curtains, for example, can "kill" the entire carefully planned interior. In our case, the Customer also understood it, so we very carefully selected fabrics both by texture and in colors. Stopped on fabrics with natural textures, soft and well draped. The colors needed calm and natural shades, with minor impressions of more brighter colors that support the existing wall and furniture.
