Studio area of 25 square meters. M in the LCD "Khoroshevsky" in Moscow is designed for rent. Estimated resident - young creative personality. It was necessary to create a bright and non-standard interior, while putting in the budget, which was relatively small - 600 thousand rubles. Designer and decorator Irina Bebeshina managed to create a modern-style space with retro elements - for this we used vintage furniture items and graphics of Soviet artists.
"The main idea was to create an inexpensive modern interior with vintage accents," says Irina. - The creation of the interior was inspired by the purchase of vintage Czechoslovak bedside tables Midsenchuri and a cult chandelier IKEA "Stockholm" from the Swedish designer Marcus Ervonen. Later there were a corresponding vintage Czechoslovak chairs Tatra FrantiSek Jirak and Chandelier in the corridor. "
Planning
In a small studio did not make redevelopments. Initially, the space was a stretched rectangle. The partitions were not - only tracing with the recommended wet zones and the hallway from the developer. They were left, putting the walls.
The walls of the studio decorate the graphics (posters) of the Soviet artists of the avant-garde era. For example, over a sofa, two works of Arseny Schulz "Dancing Couple" and "Dance School".
Finish
According to the author of the project, chose inexpensive and high-quality materials. For walls - paint, laminate laid on the floor. In the room on the wall used accent wallpapers in yellow shades that supported the selected Mid-Century style. In the bathroom and hallway laid gray porcelain stonewares and a boar tile.
The accent wall in the room is solved by graphic wallpaper in the spirit of MID-CENTURY. On the rack, the work of Arseny Schulz and "Cats" of the modern artist Evgenia Kratov.
Furniture and storage systems
The apartment did not overload furniture. The basis is IKEA furniture, but the designer chose collections in the spirit of the 60s to support the selected aesthetics. In particular, the Stockholm collection. In the hallway - a large built-in wardrobe with Pax doors. The kitchen is also from IKEA, black and white glossy facades are combined. Black gloss harmonizes with a dining table. The sofa is also provided as the main sleeping place - folding. The coffee table supports the overall stylistics, and vintage bedside tables and chairs set a special atmosphere.
"In the entire project, 4 colors were used: white, black, yellow and gray, which successfully coincided with the colors of Pantone 2021," says Irina.
Lighting
The lighting scenarios consist of track ceiling lights, suspended lamp next to the sofa in the same style and accent chandelier of IKEA "Stockholm" over the dining table.
In addition to the chandelier, the work of the Soviet artist Lev Aronov was decorated in the dining area zone.
"In the main room used black ceiling tires and suspended lamps of the same form to emphasize the graphicness of the interior and accents from the black glass. The hallway hangs a black and white chandelier-plate of the 60s. In the bathroom used Branch Ikea, "the designer clarifies.
It was possible to save on the furniture in the bathroom. "A table under the sink was made of foam blocks and covered with Creto Laurent. Shutter for a soul from Lerua Merlen "perfectly fit into the color stylist of the interior," says Irina.
Designer and decorator Irina Bebein, project author:
We tried to create a modern interpretation of Midsenchuri style. The combination of black and yellow is one of the characteristic color combinations of this style, as well as the geometric pattern on the wallpaper. In addition, for Midsenchuri, the use of black glasses and wooden glossy elements of furniture is characterized. And, of course, bright prints in textiles.
