Against the background of the white walls, the project author added bright elements and accessories that resemble the style of Bocho - a carpet on the wall, a woven decor.
Customers and tasks
A young couple lives in Samara in this studio apartment without children. They wanted to create a bright and functional interior, threw to the Scandinavian style. For a pair, it was important to arrange a combined kitchen-living room and a full-fledged bed. To fulfill these wishes, they invited designer Ekaterina Malmigina.
Redevelopment
According to the original plan, it was a standard oddness with a kitchen, a room, a bathroom and an entrance hall. Separately - a small balcony. The layout revised to fulfill the wishes of customers. Fortunately, this allowed the absence of bearing walls.
Between the kitchen and the room removed the separating partition and thus created the overall space of the kitchen-living room.
Also removed the partition between the room and the hallway, making a bedroom in a niche in the hallway. And the hall turned out to be more correct square shape. On the border of the hallway and the kitchen-living room built partitions with niches. One of them was located desktop. Another - from the bedroom side - became the place to accommodate storage boxes. In the area of the kitchen-living room, they built a small column of plasterboard, on both sides of which they made shelves for storage.
The kitchen area and the bathroom remained at the places where they are provided by the developer. The balcony also did not touch.
The carpet on the wall several years ago was called the returned trend. But nevertheless, in the interior, such a reception occurs infrequently, and therefore attracts attention. This carpet designer chose in the French retailer store, it is manually woven from recycled clothes.
Finish
General background in the entire apartment - white walls painted with water-mounted paint. "The apartment is small, only 40 square meters. m, and we did not want to crush it in colors and materials. White color united and gathered all the space of the apartment, "the author of the project Ekaterina Malmigina is divided.
The color was allocated only apron in the kitchen and the wall in the bedroom over the bed.
On the floor laminate was laid, with the exception of the kitchen area and hallway. The bathroom is fully decorated with tiles, here two types of ceramics combined: a gray-brown tile is laid on the walls, and on the floor - a tile under the tree.
The windows are free from curtains, which is not quite familiar to our eye, but typically for the Scandinavian style. The window opening is decorated with a tree, which in color echoes the laminate on the floor and shelves in a niche next to the window.
Furniture and storage systems
The designer has planned several spacious storage systems for both domestic supplies and clothes. In the hallway - a wardrobe, the ironing board, iron and suitcases are stored there. The bathroom has a storage system on one of the walls, where the washing machine, household chemicals, water heater and cleaning equipment fit.
The niche for the desktop is equipped with storage shelves, in the bedroom zone - niche with drawers for storage of linen. The bed is a lifting mechanism, it means that under the mattress there is also a place for storage that the owners are used for bed linen and plaids.
The sleeping place is separated from the total zone with curtains, which are invasioning the couch of the sofa chairs. The designer says the curtains create comfort and protect the budget.
Furniture objects are quite laconic, without frills and decor, in the spirit of the Scandinavian style. Much has chosen from the mass market assortment, made something to order, such as, for example, a kitchen, a dining table, a bed and built-in storage systems.
Lighting
Light scripts are concise. The upper functional light is thought out - it is resolved with minimalistic built-in luminaires. Local lighting was made above the dining table - the suspensions, in the bedroom - the beds near the bed, the sofa - the flooring and in the bathroom - a refill mirror.
Designer Ekaterina Malmargin, project author:
From the very beginning, the customers wanted the interior in Scandinavian style. We tried to follow him as much as possible. Scandinavian style is distinguished by its minimalistness and simplicity of forms. It predominates light light shades and natural materials. We created a simple, convenient, functional and concise interior. But since the Scandinavian style is cold enough and restrained in essence, with the help of the decor we decided to enter warm and soft shades into the interior. The carpet on the wall gave the comfort and completeness of the interior. The decor revived the restrained white walls. A multicolored textile in the form of pillows and the plaid combined all the shades of the interior together.
