1 Redee the project of the room
Before planning lighting, you need to work in detail the design project of the room. Each zone asks for its intensity of light, bright or scattered lighting, the location of the lamps, the form of switches. Therefore, at the very beginning it is necessary to decide where the main furniture will rise: a kitchen set, a writing desk, a bed or a bookcase. 2 Select the color rendering index
If you have long selected the color of walls, textiles or upholstered furniture, you need to pay attention to the light bulbs that are installed in the room. This index manufacturers are indicated on the package as RA. The most optimal value is: Ra = 100. Approximately the same value at sunlight, which forms our color perception. If Ra is less than 70, the color renderent will suffer, and you will find yourself unhappy with the result.
3 Call the luminaire coating range
Twenty years ago, the most common scenario was a large chandelier in the center of a room with several ceiling, which covered all the corners. Now it is better to navigate the local coating. This means that for each zone you need to choose your source of lighting, often refusing the classic chandelier in the center of the ceiling. It is more practical, especially in a small room, where the massive chandelier would attract too much attention.

General lighting is not very practical in everyday life. It is not always necessary to illuminate every corner of space. Previously, each room carried its function, there was no such concept as a "studio", so the overall illumination was the easiest solution. But now local lighting helps to allocate areas in the room: for example, you can hang a luminaire over a dining table, it will only illuminate the dining area. Do not regret it to allocate separate light for each zone, and then you can evaluate the transfiguration of your home.
4 Do not forget about the decorative component
Lamps in the interior there is not only an important functional, but also a decorative component. For example, if you made an accent wall of rough red brick, be sure to find the way to highlight it. This will emphasize the texture, as well as the color of the surface, will make the space much more cozy in the evening, when there is no natural light from the windows. You can use the LED tape under the ceiling or several small flashes on the tires directed to the wall.
5 Combine different light sources
Planning lighting in the apartment, you do not need to be attached to one type of light sources and one type of lamps. For example, do not post up the entire apartment of dozens of dotted lamps built into the ceiling with warm glow. It is better to combine different types of lamps.
