On 44 square meters, architects managed to think over all the important functional areas: the kitchen with a comfortable dining area, a living room with a folding sofa and an isolated bedroom behind a glass partition. And also inhale the elements of the classic style in the small space, while not overloading it.
The owners of this small apartment wanted to create a universal interior who could like parents (housing was intended for them), and at the same time had the appearance of a traditional European home. It was necessary to design a studio that would combine living room and kitchen, an entrance hall, a storage room, a bedroom and a bathroom with a shower compartment, replacing the bath.
Redevelopment
The apartment is a few more than 40 m2 in terms of a rectangle, on one side of which two large windows to the floor. There were no internal bearing supports in this space. A small compartment is adjacent to one of the side walls, intended for pantry.
The status of works of art here seems to be acquired not only panels and graphic poses, but also more ordinary items. For example, convex round mirrors, creating a game with zoom drops and seemed to come down from ancient paintings.
Near the entrance door, an entrance hall was designed from which through a narrow corridor, bypassing the bathroom, you can go into residential space. The left of the input loop is the P-shaped composition of the kitchen with a semi-fruit peninsula, replaced the dining table. Near the window is the door to the pantry. To the right to enter the corridor - the living room, from her, the sliding double door leads to the bedroom.
The living room is zonied from the kitchen-dining room back sofa and the difference in floor coatings. Color gamut and ceiling decor, on the contrary, retain the unity, which gives the studio integrity.
In view of the small dimensions of the apartment, the dining area was connected to the kitchen. The semi-fruit peninsula with the cooking area visually combines the artificial stone countertop, under it there is a pull-out drawer and a compartment that closes the door. Svet table tops from the dining area is 35 cm to be at the table was comfortable. Additional storage places were provided in the hallway Andresol, and in the bathroom, the complementary compartment, his door hides a washing machine and shelves.
The elongated mirror in the simpleness between the windows resembles an elegant decking and adds a feeling of airiness, like a transparent door.
Repairs
New partitions erected from foam blocks, radiators replaced on stylized vintage. The floors in residential areas were told by parquet, in the rest - a porcelain tile. The ceiling height differences caused by a house-conditioning system system were disguised as a beam design with drywall. Between the bedroom and the living room, the glazed portal with sliding doors was built on the metal frame. In the bathroom, in addition to the shower compartment, provided and technical - for the washing machine and household accessories, separating it with the door, and the entreezol confused over the niche with a sofa.
Smooth strict facades of two shades of gray and with anthracite color handles emphasized the expressiveness of a polychrome apron, to which the dishes and kitchen accessories picked up.
Design
A thoughtful layout scenario and decor transformed a small space. The partitions created those outlines of the premises that allowed to make the interior to the interior, convenient, while visually expanding the borders: it is now difficult to believe that close neighboring apartments have the same area. Catch live light from large windows, numerous mirrors and transparent glass helped optically lengthen the prospects. On both trajectories that connect windows with the premises remote from them, there are no deaf walls: from the kitchen-dining room slips through the open opening up to the entrance door (while the size of the hallway increase the mirror doors of the cabinet compartment), and from the living room, bypassing the glass portal, - to the cabinet in the bedroom with mirror from the floor to the ceiling doors.
Semi-cloth chairs are selected very comfortable - with wide seats and backs, stable, with soft upholstery.
Associations with European interior interiors of the second half of the XIX century cause the axial symmetry of the main wall wall composition, features of the muffled color gamut, the order of furniture part of the furniture, stylized under vintage mirrors, lamps, high plinths and profiled doors that created a classic context inherent in the setting and design of apartments of that time .
A carved panel on a plate with lacquer resembles a Chinese screen, deliberately rough texture gives it expressiveness.
Do not overload the interior with bright accents, but the glass and mirrors helped create an expressive "theater". So, the wall separating the bedroom from the living room is almost completely glazed. Drawing of curls give the portal and doors similarities with a greenhouse window, and a spruce shade of walls and decor enhance this association. Curtains that can be separated by the space to sleep from the living room area, make a taste of stage action.
Graphic miniatures and panels in the bedroom continue the natural image of birds.
A fabulous hostess tile for apron in the kitchen combines shades of gray, smalled orange and pistachio. She asked the colorsist of the apartment. The shades of green and gray (in which the interior doors are painted) are prevalent, but the outbreaks of orange are manifested in the dishes, the upholstery of the pouf next to the sofa, textiles, wall-mounted tile pattern in the bathroom. Graphic miniatures and panels in the bedroom continue the natural image of birds.
Plushed miniatures with birds of birds decorated walls not only hallway and living room, but also a bathroom, which acquired the view of Bouire. Irregular laying from the tile of different collections gave the wall similarity with a decorative panel.

The apartment is located in a renovated old building. With modest dimensions in rooms, pretty high ceilings, but due to the air conditioning channel system, which is equipped with a house, the height of them is uneven. I did not want to lose the feeling of greater space, which creates the height of the ceiling, so in the kitchen-living room we disguised the height differences with regular decorative beams from drywall. Internal access hatches are in the bedroom.
