The stretch ceiling makes sense to mount only in the glazed loggia - in the outdoor room it will be rapidly polluted (and it's not so easy to wash the spring synthetic surface), burn out in the sun and vibrate in the wind. But even in the presence of glazing for the ceiling, not every material will be suitable.
Fundamental choice
The market presents two main varieties of stretch ceilings - from polyester textile canvases and PVC films. Polyester textiles retains elasticity at temperatures up to -30 ° C, while it has a pleasant texture of fabric and high strength, but it is quite expensive (taking into account the installation - from 1,100 rubles / m2). PVC film is much more popular due to comparative cheapness, but traditionally considered not enough frost-resistant; According to certificates, the usual film ceiling is designed to operate in the temperature range from -5-10 to + 40-50 ° C.
Manufacturers offer a conventional PVC film tens of colors, but the choice of frost-resistant films is far from being so rich.
As the cooling, the soft PVC is becoming more fragile and can burst even from air movement. In practice, this is rare, and yet why risks? It is better to purchase a film made on a new recipe - with the addition of synthetic rubber (Coold Stretch, Rainbow Fresh et al.). Such a ceiling is mounted without heating with a heat gun and withstands frost to -30 ° C and at the same time it is cheaper than a textile web (from 850 rubles / m2).
In advertisements, the cost of 1 m2 of the stretch ceiling does not exceed 400 rubles. With real calculation, increasing coefficients are included (for rooms of a small area, complex shape, etc.), as a result, the price increases by 2-3 times.
2 Method of installation
PVC film is mounted in two ways - harpoon (in aluminum baguette) and wedge, or stapal (in plastic baguette). The main advantages of the first - high strength of the connection with the baguette and the ability to remove the cloth (for example, to stretch the cable or install a new lamp), and then return it to the place. Textile canvas fill in cam plastic baguette - this method eliminates re-installation.

Usually the barn profile is attached to overlapping or walls. In the loggia, translucent designs are preserved to the ceiling, therefore, as a rule, it is necessary to first collect the strapping from bars with a minimum of 40 × 40 mm. This solution also allows you to slightly lower the ceiling to eliminate the volume of the indoor disproportion and install point lamps. 3 Installation of lamps
Neither the polyester canvas, nor in particular PVC films, do not endure the long-term effects of the temperature above +60 ° C - the material can be saved, change the color and even boost. This property must be taken into account when choosing the type and power of the lamps. The optimal option is LED devices that are practically not heated.
Laying cables and the installation of mortgage platforms for lamps is carried out before mounting the ceiling. At the same time, the cable must be reliably attached to the overlap of metal clamps in a step of no more than 0.5 m, and the platform brackets must be adjusted in length so that the lamps can be set at the desired level.
