The main concept of the project is to create a comfortable functional space in which an independent life will begin, and the design will remain relevant for a long time.
One bedroom apartment is located in the Vyborg district of St. Petersburg and is located on the 22nd floor, which overlooks the entire city. The windows overlook the eastern side.
Planning
The customer is a student of twenty years. The girl travels a lot, lives into two cities, leads a dynamic lifestyle and loves to read a lot.
She often visited parents and friends. It was necessary to create a spacious living room and a kitchen, also needed cozy recreation areas, many storage sites, including a roomy dressing room.
It was decided to make the most unite common areas - a living room, a kitchen, a corridor. As a result, a space was obtained, in which the guests can be taken with comfort. It is conventionally distinguished by furniture: you can watch TV at the bar counter. The rack is delimiting the zones of the corridor and the living room. Thanks to the end-to-end shelves, light into the dark areas of the apartment.
Designers took into account the wishes and a place to read on the balcony. In the evening, from here you can look at the fascinating panorama of the city.
Interior style
The customer wanted to see in his apartment interior with elements of Loft style, so designers involved in the project a rough finish and neutral colors with the addition of bright accents in textiles and decoration. At the stage of the planning solution, the fireplace was laid into the project. Industrial lamps, brickwork, wood, metal and corresponding to the total colors, textiles bring the loft at the minimalist interior.
Finishing and colors
The interior style determined the color range of the apartment. Despite the fact that the project was developed for a young girl, the project authors decided to use a strict palette consisting of two or three colors. As opposed to cold gray gamme, warm sandy shades were launched into the space. The bedroom became an accent. Saturated colors make space friendly. Even in the absence of decoration, the room looks like "alive" and self-sufficient.
In the bedroom, in addition to dark plaster, paint was used. Wooden panels in the headboard winning look at velvety green texture with deep saturated color.
The bedside table terrazzo with a metal frame combines the splashes of green and red stones.
Lighting
Each room provides various lighting scenarios. The kitchen requires the backlight of the working surface and the total upper light in the form of track lamps on the rotary leg, the directional light is provided over the dining areas to create a secluded evening atmosphere. Near the rack hung on the brain - an additional light source for reading.
The hallway also hangs the sconium and highlighting wooden bars on the wall. In the evening, only an accent light can be used, creating a muted atmosphere.
Storage systems
Most of the furniture is made to order, moreover, a lot of embedded items, therefore was necessary to control at each stage of construction and execution of furniture (measurements, approval of materials, technical drawings, installation of products). A large cross-cutting rack has become an excellent solution for storing the replenishment library. In addition to the spacious cabinet in the bedroom in the corridor there is a large wardrobe for outerwear and large things, and there is also a dressing room at the entrance to the apartment, where it is convenient to store shoes, suitcases. The washing machine is made in the "pocket", where the heating manifold is located and can be stored by household chemicals.
The authors of the project Alyona Simonova, Irina Shestopalova:
At the time of the start of the project, the apartment was from the developer, without finishing. Therefore, the scope of work was large: from dismantling partitions, the construction of new walls, alignment of existing and coordination of redevelopment to finishing and furniture installation. All this, until the readiness of the object to the settlement, took 5 months. Much time and attention was paid to a thorough selection of materials, their combination with each other.
The editors warns that in accordance with the Housing Code of the Russian Federation, the coordination of the conducted reorganization and redevelopment is required.
