The tensioning coating is made of polyvinyl chloride (abbreviated PVC). It is stretched on a special baguette, which is attached to the wall or ceiling. Material is elastic and thin. Maximum that he can withstand is a point lamp. But he has two useful properties. The first is that it is easy to cut. The cut will not crawl if it grab it a special frame or baguette. The second property is the ability to remove the canvas, carry out the necessary hidden work, and then set it again at the starting position. It is these two most important circumstances that will allow us to answer the question - how to hang a chandelier on the stretch ceiling.

Polyvinyl chloride is not able to withstand temperatures above 60 ° C. The mounting chandelier to the stretch ceiling should be done in such a way that the lamps do not heat its surface - otherwise its deformation is possible and even the appearance of holes in the places of melting. The problem has several solutions:
- The use of LED or enegrosable lamps - they are weakly heat and do not represent any danger to the slightly melting vinyl;
- If the choice fell on the incandescent lamps, they can not be brought to more than 40 cm to the surface. Power should not exceed 60 W. This rule applies to halogen lamps;
- The base should not be sink, therefore the optimal version will be the rod not from the metal, as in most structures, and from plastic or other material, less susceptible to heating.
You should give preference to models like "chandelier-spider", in which the cartridges are directed down either to the sides. If they look up, the distance to the coating should be significant - otherwise overheating not to power, and it is fraught with irreparable changes in the form of ferrous spots, irregularities and holes. When they appear, it will have to be changed all the cloth - after all, it is impossible to patch it or put a pay on it.
Plafones should not have sharp corners - otherwise, when they swinging, they pierce the film, the least dangerous plaffones are less dangerous, but they are also better to place.

How to fix the chandelier to the stretch ceiling, if it is already stretched

If the hook is missing, or its length is missing, it is easy to solve the problem with an anchor with a curved end. Here the question arises - how to drill the stretch ceiling to set the chandelier, while not damaging it? The usual drill is hardly enough with a significant difference in levels. In this situation, it is better to use a perforator. Before working the hole, you must enter into a baguette so as not to spoil the film.
If the model needs to be hung or fasten to the horizontal metal bar, you may have to do the base in the form of a wooden bar. With a small hole, these works are not so easy. The canvas need to either remove or make a noticeable cut. The last option is possible if the incision succeeds to be beautifully arranged by a bagent frame so that it does not sprawl. The hole may be too big, and then she will look ugly. In this case, you will have to choose a wide ceiling that allows you to hide it.
If the installation is required not in the center of the room, but elsewhere, for example, closer to the inlet, the film should be removed to pave the wires. Tightening it yourself - the case is not easy, so it's better to prepare all the electrocommunications in advance.
How to mount chandelier if the canvas is not yet stretched
Prepare a place for a lamp is easier if the slab overlap is free. Nothing will prevent transfer the place of its location, stretching the wiring to it and prepare the base - a bar or jumper. Any technical solution becomes possible.
In the overlap with a drill, a hole under the dowel is done and a hook with carvings is installed. If the PVC film is at a high distance, the fastener is better to take it harder. Masters recommend in such cases to fix it on a wooden bar. This method will provide a more reliable connection if you choose the wood more closely or use the chipboard of the chipboard or the Fiberboard installed on the brackets of the desired length.
The best option will be installed on the end of steel fasteners in the concrete and on adjustable metal racks to put the plywood plate 25 x 25 cm in the ceiling coating, which should fit tightly to it. It is more convenient to purchase a finished cross-shaped stand. In the plate you need to prepare an opening hole in advance and hook. With this method, you will have to drill more holes, but it is most reliable. The location of the cut is rigidly recorded, and the sagging under the influence of the temperature or mass of the baguette is completely excluded. For heavy structures weighing up to 10 kg, it is better to use shock dowels with a length of about 10 cm and a diameter of 1 cm.

Then you need to understand how the plank should be at the height and, accordingly, the vinyl coating. They are also good because they are not subject to strain unlike wood. You can attach them to ordinary screws with dowels.
Before wiring, it is necessary to turn off the electricity in the room where work will be performed. If a device is required for new communications, it is better to use the VVGNG-LS cable - it will definitely fail. The wall cable is placed in a shallow finance or a special plastic profile consisting of a housing and an upper removable panel. On the ceiling, it is not necessary to arrange stages, but the wire must be consolidated so that it does not interfere with a thin film. As a rule, it is raised in a plastic tube or a corrugated flexible hose, which is attached to the overlap on the clamps. For this purpose, the wall profile is used to be discussed above. The short cable will be easy to lengthen with the terminal nozzle, but for this you need to be able to handle a soldering iron. In order not to complicate the task, it is better to take a wire with a margin in advance. In place of the connection with the lighting device it is necessary to press the clamp to secure its position.
When the bar or jumper is installed on the desired level, you can pull the PVC film.
