What if you allocate for the baby a separate room does not work? Search other options: for example, equip the children's zone in the living room. We made for you a selection of practical ideas on this: inspire and apply!
1 children's for a translucent partition
The authors of the project of this room found a rather elegant way to separate the physically and visual zone of children from the rest of the living room. Thanks to the sliding partition from the matte glass, the room, if necessary, is clearly distinguished by two parts.
In this case, the natural light penetrates through the translucent glass and to that part of the room that remains without the window. And if there is no need in the separation of the room, the partition can be pulled out - and the room will immediately return its initial volume.
2 Separation with curtains
The owners of this room went easier - and divided the room into two parts with a curtain. Of course, the distinction was very conditional, but zoning on the living room and the nursery is rather obvious.
3 Children's Corner
Another option to use textile drapery to separate the children's zone in the living room. However, in this example, the baby received much more privacy, and the children's bed in Niche was almost hidden from the gaze.
Please note: the area allocated to this "Children's Corner" is quite small, but used with maximum benefit. There is also a bedroom, and a desk, and a storage system, and even the place for recreation and reading.
4 mini house
And this unusual children's living room is a real mini-house - a separate space with a private door and windows. An unexpected and pretty compact idea that any kid will accurately appreciate.
5 Children's area at the window
Another way to separate part of the room, organizing a space for the baby there is a bed at the window, and the storage system is around the window opening.
Take a look at this example: it looks very compact, functionally and spectacular. You can add such a children's zone with a transparent or translucent partition, curtains - or resort to other methods of zoning (color, light, floor levels and ceiling, etc.).
6 Game zone in the living room
Important moment: It is absolutely optionally to shift all the functions of the children's room at once. You can restrict ourselves, for example, only the game zone (organizing a compact bedroom for the baby in another room).
This option will allow much more organically to enter a children's corner in the interior of the living room. And even add a certain highlight to the "adult" room.
7 children's on the balcony
Does your living room adjoin a balcony or loggia? Excellent! After all, there, too, you can organize a children's room, and there are as many two possible scenarios.
The first - with the joining of the balcony. So you will increase the area of the room and can more comfortably divide it (conditionally or physically) into two parts.
The second possible solution is to do without joining, having organized a sleeping place in the living room (or in another room), and the zone for games, creativity and child development is actually on the balcony.
