1 Choose furniture saving place
Do not buy cuisine bulky furniture. Soft chairs with backs, armchairs, a large dining table - there is a living room for these items. Even a traditional kitchen corner, developed once specifically for small apartments, has ceased to be non-alternative. A narrow and long rack located along the wall and stools without backs is enough for the operational breakfast at the beginning of the working day.
If you all correctly calculate, the stools will hide under the rack until the hostess prepares food.
2 Discard decorations
Choosing furniture for the kitchen, avoid decorative excesses. The best style for small rooms is minimalism. Carved backs, sharp corners, large fittings on drawers and cabinet doors - the potential causes of inconvenience. In a limited space for the protruding handles, you will cling to clothing, and on the angles to fue the bruises. Furniture in style minimalism will perform exactly the same functions as the headset over which the driver has worked. At the same time, you can move around the kitchen quickly and think about things, and not about how to hit.3 Do not buy anything about the stock

4 Refuse extra planes
Planning the situation in the new apartment, try to make every item to have a double purpose, and ideally, was universal. A small kitchen island can serve as a place for cooking and a dining table.
If you do not like the island, you can buy a robust table from the rustic wood massif. Its dignity lies in strength and stability, as well as the possibility of fast surface recovery, if it suffers during cooking. It is enough to polish the worktop and cover it with fresh varnish so that the table looks like a new one. There is another advantage of the table in front of the island - the open design makes a small kitchen light and air.
5 Look for new ways to expand space
Any passion tend to develop. The optimization of space can also be carried away, and then non-standard solutions come to mind. If part of the furniture in the kitchen is superfluous, it is possible that the wall between the room and the kitchen is superfluous.
Not everyone will demolish the wall, but it's much easier to do the window in it, especially if it is technically acceptable. Perhaps this decision will lead to what you get used to dining in the living room, understood how it is convenient to serve me through the window formed. Or maybe you will have to like the idea to turn the lower part of the wall in the bar, installing a worktop on it.
