The paintopulists have long been and successfully used by professional builders, and with the onset of "market relations" tools and for household use appeared. Most of the paint sprayers are arranged on the principle of ejector, in which energy is transmitted from one medium (quickly moving air flow) to another (paint).

The air flow picks up paint particles that are in a special tank, and the resulting aerosol passes through the nozzle that forms an aerosol jet. It is only necessary to direct the user to the stainable surface and follow the latitude of the latter.

Electric paintopults are divided into two types: for alkyd (liquid) and water dispersive (water-level) paints, having large density and fraction. When choosing a paint pistol, pay attention to the power of the device and the size of the nozzle. When preparing the surface, you need to understand which paint you plan to use and what effect to achieve. Preparation of the base is an equally important stage of surface protection against destruction and a guarantee of long-term operation of the coating. The main stages of preparation are priming and spitting of the surface. When painting, it is necessary to move smoothly, without jerks. It is recommended to start painting from the corner located at the window. It is necessary to paint in two directions (each layer) - vertically and horizontally. As a rule, it will have to be applied from two to four layers depending on the paint and the tool.

This method is painted, in addition to high performance, there are other advantages, the main one is considered to be a uniform application. With neat use on the surface, smears and traces are not formed, which is characteristic when working with a brush and roller. The paintopult is perfect and for painting structures of complex shape. The main lack of spray gun is that this is a professional tool, therefore experience and skill are needed to work with it. The newcomer, who first took the paint sprayer for the first time, can leave the "spots", that is, in some places to put the paint too thick or too thin. To close them, you may have to repaint the entire surface.

The same applies to economy. With an inequimate handling of the paint gun, the composition consumption is likely to increase, since an inexperienced master can put the paint too thick. In addition, when spraying, paint is able to affect the environmental environment. Another minus is the impossibility of drawing the exact boundaries of the area of ​​the zone. We can apply sharp strokes with a brush when, for example, we write letters, but to perform work with the help of painting, you need a stencil.

Types of paintopult

Devices differ primarily by the mechanism of the formation of an aerosol torch. Occasionally, there are still manual paintopulizers in which the pump needs to download themselves, but they are already considered to be exotic. Most often in everyday life, models with an electric pump are used, the benefit of them is not very high (approximately from 1500 rubles).

Pneumatic sprawers are also found - they are considered more reliable and professional techniques. However, this tool is required to connect to the compressor that at home is not always possible. In addition to productivity and power consumed, the technique may vary on the design of the paint pistol. In cheap models, the electric motor and the ejector are combined under the case, in a more expensive engine and the pump are transferred to a separate unit, connected to the paint gun air duct.

This design allows you to significantly reduce the weight of the gun, so the tool can be recommended for long work - try at least half an hour to quickly swing the spray gun with the built-in engine (the total weight of about 2-3 kg) and without the engine (the mass of about 1 kg). I think you will quickly feel the difference.

The paintopults differ in the type of tank mounting - on top or bottom of the spraying head. The lower mount seems to be more convenient for use at home, while professional painting guns more often have the upper mount.

Choose "on the weight"

For domestic use, both the mass of paint pistol and the convenience of construction are very important. Take the paintopult in your hands, appreciate how comfortable handle, will the tool be balanced when you fill in the paint tank. The capacity of the latter can be 0.5-1 liters, so you need to take into account the mass of paint.

It makes no sense to chase a new productivity - it is possible to choose not very powerful (200-600 W) model. The same can be recommended with a small amount of work.

The quality of work largely depends on the tool. There is even more important than the level of the brand, but the general condition of technology. It is necessary to take care of the sprayer, carefully care for it. In particular, before work, it is necessary to adjust it to the use of a composition of one or another type by installing a suitable nozzle. The less viscous paint, the less should be the diameter of the nozzle hole. Thus, a series of models uses replaceable nozzles with a diameter of the hole from the tenths of a millimeter to a few millimeters, and the Bosch collars use multi-position nozzles with three positions for paints of different types. The first tools are more economical, but the second is more convenient (no change is needed).

In general, ideally, it is desirable to have one paint gun on the paint of each type. After work, do not forget to clean the tool. If you use the water composition, then the paintopult is easy to launder with water, and if the alkyd - White spirit.

What paints can be used?

Paints and impregnation of many types are suitable for paint pistols. Very well proved themselves for water based formulations. First, they have a fairly weak smell. Secondly, they do not need to rub in the stained surface, so the spray gun may well replace the roller or brush.

Impregnations and lazuries

All impregnations can be divided into two large groups: aqueous and alkyd. And those and others are permissible to pour into the paintopult, pre-10-15% diluted with water or White spirit.

Facade paints for mineral and wooden surfaces

It is important that the composition has a suitable consistency that allows you to use the paintopult.

Oils for terraces and furniture

This is another product that is easier to inflicting the spray gun rather than a roller or brush. Oil is suitable for processing horizontal and vertical surfaces. Unlike impregnation or paint, oil does not form a film and does not hide the texture of natural wood.

Varnish

Lucky for vertical bases (yacht, panel, for furniture) can be applied from the collapse. In this case, it is important to comply with the flow and prevent the application of too thick layer.

What paints are not suitable?

First of all, those in which there are small textual fractions. They will score nozzle and can lead to the tool breakdown. Do not apply too viscous mixtures.

Experienced by define the optimal percentage of dilution of paint. If a consistency turned out, in which the tool "does not sleep", the paint is fed evenly - this is exactly what you need. Apply paint film as thinly and evenly as possible. For this purpose, it is recommended to conduct a pistol of the sprayer parallel to the surface with a constant speed.
