A variety of decoration materials and decor elements selected for the design of this apartment create a special atmosphere in it. The functionality of modern design in this interior is combined with cozy warm classics

The apartment acquired in the house-new building was intended for two people - the mistress and her adult son. The layout of the selected housing was quite successful, so that Architect Designer Oksana Vorontsov introduced only minor adjustments to it. For example, the original kitchen-living room was divided by a partition having a central stationary part and two sliding doors, which made it possible to easily transform the space - isolate zones and combine them at will. Light sliding doors appeared in the hallway, with their help created a dressing room. Another wardrobe staged a hostess in the bedroom, it is a spare area with a spacious wardrobe, separating the bedroom from the bathroom. The changes affected the configuration of the wall that divides the living room and the son of the Son. Thanks to the device of several niches, the plastic pattern of the walls became more complicated, the volume and spatial solution of the premises was enriched.

The need to hide the design of the channel air conditioner, located on the central axis of the apartment, led to the appearance of another interesting bulk element - a decorative "beam". The distemper of the kitchen designer with the built-in "beam" of the translucent panel with internal illumination focused on the "corridor" zone connecting the room. In the form of the Son "Beam" fully performed in the form of a translucent design, and one of the sides of this "lantern" is included in the interiors of the guest bathroom and the hallway, where it creates the illusion of windows, of which daylight flows.

The remaining finishing materials or support this "basis", or contrast with it.

The whole design is partition and doors - made to order by the specialists of AE COMPANY. From the side of the kitchen with the door closed, it looks like a single wall. The contrast of this solid dark surface and snow-white glossy facades of kitchen furniture and white walls creates a special "ringing" atmosphere.

Tell the author of the project

During the work of us with the owners of the apartment, the desire to achieve the maximum artistic effect, applying various "rich", complex on the texture and nature of finishing materials in combination with deep, saturated colors with deliberately simple volume solutions. The white color of the brick wall was originally conceived as a certain "Charton", which is configured all other interior colors. The decision was justified to use natural expensive materials in the finish: for floor coverings - an array of American walnut and oak, for the ceiling in the bathroom hostess - moisture-proof board from Brazilian walnut. After all, we wanted to create an unusual image - spectacular, bright, artistic and even somewhat exotic.
