1 Moldings like an unusual wall decor
You can make an accent wall in the living room not only with wallpaper, but also using moldings. Anna Suvorov and Pavel Mikhin were embodied this idea in the project of this apartment for renting. The wall of the TV is decorated with a polyurethane rectangular decor. They were painted in the same color as the walls. It turned out a volumetric and interesting decor without much costs.

So, in this apartment for the project, Elena Jeshevich chosen dark wallpaper with a geometric print. They add accent, the graphics of the interior and are perfectly contrasted with blue facades of the kitchen headset, which is located opposite, behind the sofa. At the same time, the drawing on the wallpaper does not distract from what is shown on the screen. And dark color helped to level the effect of "black spots" as a TV screen.
5 Mirror panel
Mirrors are known for its ability to expand the space, and in small rooms, designers often use this. For example, in the living room of this apartment on the project of the studio MT Design Interiors, the wall for the sofa was made by mirrors without a frame. A kind of frame steel wardrobes around the sofa. By the way, another "chip" of this room is connected with them. The cabinets were purchased by the apartment owner before repair, but the designers managed to enter them into the living room so that they look like a specially designed interior. The secret is simple - the ceiling slightly lowered and chose a high ceiling eaves.
