The word "Installation" is related not only to the visual arts or the virtual world of computers. This is also called the device for hidden installation of sanitary equipment, namely shell, toilet bowls, bidets, shower cabins and other things.

Origin

The etymology of the term "installation system" (SI) is unknown, most likely, it arose as a result of the poor translation of foreign directories. There are other designations of the same concept: modular installation systems, mounting modules (elements), frames for hidden mounting of mounted equipment. All of them imply one thing: a design that allows you to install and hidden to connect any plumbing device to water supply and sewage systems, both separately and in a common integrated system. In other words, it is a frame (or block), on which the entire engineering blockage of toilet bowls, bidet, IT.D. is fixed, including the drain tank. The frame is accurately exposed to height and is rigidly attached to the floor, wall or wall frame, and then sewn with stove materials and produce finishing finish (tile or painting). After that, the swollen stiletts are mounted in advance. Thus, it turns out a steady compact design that can withstand the weight of the technique and man. SI supplies Geberit (Switzerland), FRIATEC, Viega, Sanit, Grohe (all Germany) and IDO (Finland). The input bar of the production of systems is considered to be the Geberit- firm, known from us with its metal-polymer and polyethylene pipes and fittings and the exemption from the 50s.

The need for C arose when the plumbing was appeared. Single dowels was fed to the carrier wall of bricks, concrete or other durable building materials, and the pipes were located outside or in the strokes (channels), pierced in the wall. Therefore, either the pipes remained in sight or the dates for the installation of Plumbing were delayed. One of the main advantages of applying systems installations is a significant reduction in the time of the bathroom arrangement. This is achieved as a result of the widespread use of C in the design of frame walls and partitions.

Today, Si is one of the most popular engineering and design solutions in the design of the bathrooms. Single such a system manages to kill numerous "hares":

securely fasten the mounted plumbing regardless of the material of the walls and overlaps;

expand the range of planning solutions of the bathrooms;

hide communications for finishing finish;

Put the noise of water in the filling tank;

Conditionally to installation systems can be attributed to the embedded washbasters. They are either attached to the guide profiles with "dry" construction, or tinted in a brick or concrete wall. Toasting into the wall, some models are produced with a specially glued plaster grid, due to which the solution is firmly held on their smooth plastic case. Such devices do not have a rigid metal frame, and therefore can only be used for the toilets installed on the floor. Built-in tanks produce Geberit (model110745, $ 120), FRIATEC (FRIABLOC352005, $ 88), Sanit (model 983, $ 94) IDR. The main advantage of the product is the shallow depth (only 90mm), which allows you to save the bathroom space. For the convenience of mounting, it is possible to supply water to the tank both from above and behind.

Design

SI design can be a frame or block. Frame installations (or modules) are rigid metal universal frames on which the necessary plumbing fittings are mounted (pipes, fittings, locking devices) and the individual for each Santechnic fastener. All these elements are coordinated with each other so as to provide standard distances between nozzles, fasteners and zero mark. The block design is more simple and installed only on the bearing walls. It includes a drain tank (for toilet) or a housing with built-in elements of fastening, plumbing and sewer fittings.

On the scope of use, all Xi is divided into two constructively different groups. The first is intended for toilet bowls, the second - for the bidet, urinal, shells.

Installation frames of several species are available:

for mounting to solid carrier and capital walls;

for mounting in lightweight plasterboard type partitions;

Universal.

To mount the toilet bowls to the capital walls, installations as a block structure can be used (not having contact with the floor) and frame. The first are mounted to the wall anchor bolts, which take care of almost all the load. This design is recommended mainly for walls of full-scale brick or concrete. It is either installed in a niche, or are plated by brick or foam concrete (for plumbing stability). Block options offer almost all C manufacturers, since the appropriate installation method is very popular in Europe (many developers plan niches under the si in advance). In addition, both the same tanks and components are used in the blocks. The line of block designs of the company is often called sonic names: Grohe is Dal-Uniset, Geberit- Kombifix, from Frietec- Friabloc, at the Viega-Mono series. The cost of the unit for mounted toilet bowls varies depending on the tank capacity and the drain system (economical, "start-stop" IT.D.) ranging from $ 120 to $ 300, and for bidet, shells or urinal - from $ 50 to $ 200.

Frame installations are attached at two points to the floor and two points to the wall. Corner brackets will allow you to install C in the corner of the bathroom. The system for mounting into lightweight (nonsense) walls are made reinforced and has a carrier frame or special supports for loosening the constant load on the wall (such is the DAL-RAPID S37169 model from GROHE). So that the si, intended for the capital walls, it was possible to mount on lightweight partitions, they are additionally completed with "paws", such as in FRIAPLAN from FRIATEC (for $ 25) or in ECO from Viega (for $ 6).

SI architects allow you to implement previously inaccessible planning solutions. We can, for example, lay the necessary plumbing set on the functional partition, and on both sides and in any combination. All communications are conducted inside the lightweight wall and hidden from the eyes. For the installation of such partitions, manufacturers produce a full range of components. These are reinforced guides (special form profiles), and connecting elements, and fasteners, and even dry-fiber (drywall) sheets, in which in the factory conditions there are holes for pipes and fastening studs. However, such profiles and ready-to-wear roads are rarely used in private housing. It is easier to make a frame yourself, and you should not cut holes in the drywall.

To form the interiors of the bathrooms, along with installation systems, so-called architectural modules can be used. They are pre-mounted products that have a triangle, a trapezoid or rectangle in plan, and allow you to quickly and with low costs to create a layout of the room. Architectural modules, as well as block SI, are offered by almost all manufacturers (as an example, we give the Grohe Dal-Rapida series).

SI for mounted toilet comprises in its design, a plastic container, in which the reinforcement of the tank is located. It is the tank, its heat and sound insulation, a reliable drain mechanism are the main feature of the system. The tank "is closed" into thermal insulation that prevents the formation of condensate and playing sound-insulating role. According to European standards, the sound when plum should be no more than 20 dB. To avoid overflow of water when the float faults, drainage is used through the drain valve (diameter-about 32mm). This prevents the leakage of the tank and the flood into the dwelling. Drain is performed using a shred key mounted in the middle of the front or top panel of the tank. After removing the panel, you can gain access to the inlets of the device and when the construction component fails, it is easily replaced with it. So it is not necessary to break the wall behind which the installation is hidden.

It is noteworthy that there are modules for mounting mounted toilet bowls on partitions that do not get to the ceiling (for example, 1200 mm height). In this case, the button is located above the tank, that is, in a horizontal plane (with the so-called upper action mechanism). We give as an example of the FRIAPLAN354006 model from FRIATEC, 91338 from IDO, 995N from SANIT.

Shells, urinals and bids can have a wide variety of dimensions and require direct flow of water and drain into sewage through the siphon. Therefore, C manufacturers have created a universal design to connect various models: you only need to move the crossbars with the mounting holes at the desired distance from each other and rearrange the studs.

The only limit is the button for the flip tank: it should be the same company as the installation itself (built-in flush tank). SI manufacturers produce a wide range of buttons. They differ in design, coloring, material. There are buttons in the anti-vandal version (say, the Tango model from Geberit made from aluminum), and sometimes it is attached to an additional device that prevents unauthorized dismantling. The button is purchased separately from C, the price varies within $ 20-60.

All frame systems are adjustable in height (up to 20 cm) with extended legs. It is very convenient because it allows you to install a plumbing in the required distance from the first floor. Moreover, the module is mounted at the draft work. The upper edge of the toilet or bidet should be at an altitude of 40-43cm from the level of the first floor, and the shells are at an altitude of 80-85 cm. Hinged equipment is attached to installation through the wall (more precisely, through a layer of drywall and finishing trim) by means of special studs that are included in the SI supplies. There are two sizes of distances between mounting holes of mounted toilet and bidet: 180 and 230mm. It is necessary to know this parameter in advance in order to put the studs in the right place. For urinal and shells of such restrictions, the non-model range is very diverse and not established, therefore, they make it possible to arrange studs at any distance. Studs for mounting attachments should be screwed to finishing, so that the holes at random did not have to drill under them, trying to get into the threaded hole of the frame. Not so long ago, the installations began to equip the rubber washers that are rugged on the heels between the wall and mounted plumbing, or use the soundproofing insert from a special material. It helps to avoid the spread of sound along rigid building structures and makes the entire system completely silent.

Some si, for example, the DAL-RAPIDS model from GROHE or the Duofix series from Geberit ($ 310), allow the tank position adjustment to the height of the toilet. This is achieved by moving the tank on a special perforated guide. The position of the key (in this case, also adjustable) is usually selected so that the seat cover in the open position does not close it. But sometimes it is impossible to install a full-fledged installation in height due to a lack of space. For such situations, c mins are produced, for example, the model DAL-RAPID S37165 from GROHE (cost- $ 200).

Without exclusion, the SI is equipped with nozzles for connecting to sewer pipes with a diameter of 90 and 110mm and a transitional coupling for docking with Santechpribor. All installations use a pipe with a diameter of 90mm, so that it is easier to get a small bend radius. To connect the shells, the bidet and urinal to the mounting frame valve, a siphon is required, which, as a rule, is not included and sold separately.

Installations are regulated in depth - usually from 125 to 185mm. This allows them to embed them into niche or partitions of different thickness. For such cases, manufacturers offer special extension cable sets. Note that when using the buttons associated with the tank mechanism directly, the thickness of the wall covering the design should not exceed 60-70mm. However, there are buttons with a pneumatic bond, then the thickness of the skin or walls does not play.

Systems of all built-in tanks have an economical drain. Let's say, Tango or Twist from the company Geberit, the button consists of two parts. Drain can be stopped at any time by clicking on the re-button. If this is not done, all the water is solved in the tank (from 6 to 9l).

Trying to foresee the needs of buyers, manufacturers make a variety of measures. Thus, Viega, Grohe and Geberit are produced with an increased profile cross section, from which the frame is manufactured. Such systems are very conveniently mounted in plasterboard partitions (at Dal-Rapidl from Grohe cross section - 5050mm, Geberit is 4040mm, at Viega- 3050mm). There are installations intended for installation of plumbers for disabled (model for the toilet FRIAPLAN354020 from FRIATEC, price- $ 367).

Now many have become included in the interior of the bathroom of the Pissar room, refuting the established opinion about him as an attribute of the public toilet only. This is caused by the exceptional hygiene of the urinal. Separate attention deserve control panels for these Santechnibors. The urinal does not require a cumulative capacity (tank), which allows the electronics to be used to control washout. For example, along with the traditional pneumatic washed, the control panels are used on infrared rays (model 337020 from FRIATEC worth $ 501 IDR) or with a remote ultrasonic motion sensor (like the GEBERIT UR-80, from $ 460 in anti-vandal execution). Washing in these devices is carried out after the visitor leaves from the toilet. The simplest device washed in the urinal is a ball valve that opens and closes manually.

Installation

Installation of SI sufficiently simple and does not require special skills from workers. The most important thing is to accurately follow the instructions. Special attention should be paid to installations attached to the wall using special "paws". The "foot" must be positioned exactly as indicated in the manual, otherwise there will be an incorrect load distribution when using padded plumbing. So if you have entrusted the installation of the non-professional system, we advise you to control this process personally.

It is equally important to correctly set the SI in height, that is, combine the meter label on the frame with a meter marker from the level of clean floor on the wall. Otherwise, the hinged plumbing may touch the floor.

After mounting the SI, the drain and outlet are covered with special plugs included in the package. If there is a built-in tank, the hole for the button is closed with a lining, which is slightly less than the button itself. This pad protects the tank from entering the construction of the construction trash, allows you to accurately perform tile or finishing works and create a hole of the necessary outlines and sizes.

WSI is easily integrated by a mechanical filter for water purification from small particles of dirt and rust. When installing, it should be carefully released the parts of the tank from the oily films that may appear in the first days of the operation of the instrument (since the components of engineering networks are supplied in lubricant). The formation of films leads to a change in the friction coefficient on the plum control elements, which is capable of changing the buttons.

For high-quality wall decoration, the tile is very important to accurately set the position of the C relative to the seams of the facing. The drain tank button should be located or in the center of the tile, or in the center of the intercutric seam. In the opposite case, an unpleasant asymmetry will be. Therefore, the SI is installed strictly by calculating with a 2mm tolerance, and the laying of the tile starts from the button.
