The word "Installation" is related not only to the visual arts or the virtual world of computers. This is also called the device for hidden installation of sanitary equipment, namely shell, toilet bowls, bidets, shower cabins and other things.
Origin
The etymology of the term "installation system" (SI) is unknown, most likely, it arose as a result of the poor translation of foreign directories. There are other designations of the same concept: modular mounting systems, mounting modules (elements), frames for hidden mounting of suspended equipment. All of them imply one thing: a design that allows you to steadily secure and secretly connect any plumbing device to water supply and sewage systems, both separately and in a common integrated system. In other words, this is a frame (or blog), on which the entire engineering blockage of toilet bowls, bidet, shells, etc., is fixed, including the drain tank. The frame is accurately exhibited in height and is rigidly attached to the floor, wall or wall frame, and then sewed with slaughter materials and make the finishing finish (tile or painting). After that, on the pre-screwed studs mounted suspended plumbing. Thus, it turns out a steady compact design that can withstand the weight of the technique and man. Some special profiles can be combined by a few si, then each of them will be called the module.SI supplies Geberit (Switzerland), FRIATEC, Viega, Sanit, Grohe (all Germany) and IDO (Finland) to Russia. The priest is considered to be a Geberit- firm, known with its metal-polymer and polyethylene pipes and fittings, which produces C since the 1950s. The need for C has arisen when the suspension plumbing appeared. It with the help of dowels was fed to the carrier wall of brick, concrete or other durable building materials, and the pipes were placed outside or in the strokes (channels), pierced in the wall. Therefore, either the pipes remained in sight or the dates for the installation of Plumbing were delayed. One of the main advantages of applying systems installations is a significant reduction in the time of the bathroom arrangement. This is achieved as a result of the widespread use of C in the design of frame walls and partitions.
Today, Si is one of the most popular design and design solutions in the design of the bathrooms. Some of such a design manages to kill numerous "hares":

- expand the range of planning solutions of the bathrooms;
- Accelerate the installation process (as already mentioned), which means to reduce the cost of repair.
The suspension plumbing harmoniously fits into any interiors, while it is also hygienic than traditional. Suspended toilet or bidet is easier to wash, and the floor under them is always available for cleaning. It should also dispel concerns of people who consider suspended plumbing is not sufficiently strong. Manufacturers assure us that suspended toilet and bidets withstand the load up to 4000H (400kg).
Design
SI design can be a frame or block. Frame installations (or modules) are rigid metal universal frames, on which the necessary plumbing fittings are mounted (pipes, fittings, locking devices) and individual for each Santechnic fasteners. All these elements are coordinated with each other so as to provide standard distances between nozzles, fasteners and zero mark. The block structure is more simple and designed for mounting only on the bearing walls. It consists of fastening elements (plates and anchor bolts), a drain tank (for toilet) and water and sewage fittings.
On the scope of use, all Xi is divided into two constructively different groups. The first is intended for toilet bowls, the second - for the bidet, urinal, shells.
Installation frames are produced for different cases of installation of Santechnibors:
- for mounting to solid carrier and capital walls;
- For mounting to lightweight plasterboard type partitions;
- Universal.
To pendant toilet bowls to the capital walls, installations as block structures can be used (non-contact with floor) and frames. The first are attached to the wall anchor bolts, which perceive almost all the load on themselves. This design is recommended mainly for walls of full-scale brick or concrete. It is either installed in a niche, or are plated by brick or foam concrete (for plumbing stability). Block options produce almost all C manufacturers, since the appropriate type of installation is very popular in Europe (many developers plan niches under Si in advance). In addition, both the same tanks and components are used in the blocks. The line of block designs of the company is often called sonic names: Grohe is Dal-Uniset, Geberit- Kombifix, from Frietec- Friabloc, at the Viega-Mono series. The cost of the block for suspended toilet bowls varies, depending on the tank capacity, the drain system (economical, start-stop, etc.), ranging from $ 120 to $ 300, and for bidet, shells or urinal - from $ 50 to $ 200.
Frame installations are attached at two points to the floor and in two points to the wall, and not necessarily straight. Corner brackets will allow you to install C in the corner of the bathroom. The installation system in lightweight (nonsense) walls are made enhanced and has a carrier frame or special supports for loosening the constant load on the wall (such is the model DAL-RAPID S 37169 from GROHE). So that the Cage, intended for capital walls, it was possible to install on lightweight partitions, they are equipped with additional "paws", such as in FRIAPLAN from FRIATEC (for $ 25) or in ECO from Viega (for $ 6).
SI architects allow you to implement previously inaccessible planning solutions. We can place the necessary set of plumbing on the functional partition, and in any combination, and even on both sides of the partition. All communications are conducted inside the lightweight wall and hidden from the eyes. For mounting such partitions, manufacturers produce a full range of components. These are reinforced guides (special form profiles), and connecting elements, and fasteners, and even dry-fiber (drywall) sheets, in which in the factory conditions there are holes for pipes and fastening studs. However, such profiles and ready-to-wear roads are rarely used in private housing. It is easier to form a frame yourself, and you should not cut holes in the drywall.
To form the interiors of the bathrooms, along with installation systems, so-called architectural modules can be used. They are pre-mounted products that have a triangle, a trapezoid or rectangle in the plan, and allow you to quickly and with low costs to create a bathroom layout. Architectural modules, as well as block SI, are offered by almost all manufacturers (in the case of the example, we give the GROHE Dal-Rapid A series).
SI for the suspension toilet comprises in its design, the plastic container in its design, in which the reinforcement of the tank is mounted. It is a tank, its heat and sound insulation, a reliable drain mechanism are the main feature of C. The tank "is closed" into thermal insulation that prevents the formation of condensate and playing sound-insulating role. According to European standards, the sound when plum should be no more than 20 dB. To avoid overflow of water when the float faults, drainage is used through the drain valve (diameter-about 32mm). This prevents the leakage of the tank and the flood into the dwelling. Drain is performed using a shred key mounted on the wall (in the middle of the front or top of the tank panel). Through the hole for the button, easy access to the insoles of the tank is ensured. At the failure of any component of the installation structure, it is easily replaced through this hole. So it is not required to break the wall behind which the installation is not required.
It is noteworthy that there are modules for mounting suspended toilets on partitions that do not get to the ceiling (for example, 1200 mm height). In this case, the button is located above the tank, that is, in a horizontal plane (with the so-called upper action mechanism). We give as an example of the FRIAPLAN354006 model from FRIATEC, IDO91338, SANIT995N.
Shells, urinals and bids can have a wide variety of dimensions and require direct flow of water and drain into sewage through the siphon. Therefore, C manufacturers have created a universal design that allows you to connect different models. This requires only to move the crossbars with the mounting holes at the desired distance from each other and rearrange the studs.
Conditionally to installation systems can be attributed to the embedded washbasters. They are either attached to the guide profiles during dry construction (plasterboard partitions), or tinted in a brick or concrete wall. Toasting in the wall, some tank models are available with a specially glued grid that allows the solution to be firmly kept on their plastic case. Such tanks do not have a rigid metal frame and therefore can only be used for the toilet bowls installed on the floor. Built-in tanks produce Geberit (model110745, $ 120), Friatec (FRIABLOC352005, $ 88), Sanit (model983, $ 94), Grohe, etc. The main advantage of such products is a small thickness (only 90mm), which allows them to be very compact. For the convenience of mounting, it is possible to supply water to the tank both from above and behind.
All frame systems are adjustable in height (up to 20cm). It is very convenient, because it allows you to install a sanitary pribor at the necessary distance from the finishing gender with the help of extended legs. Moreover, the module is mounted at the "draft" work. The top edge of the toilet or bid should be located at an altitude of 40-43cm from the level of the first floor, and the shells are 80-85 cm. The suspension plumbing is attached to the installation through the wall (more precisely, through the layer of plasterboard and finishing) by means of special studs included in Installation package. There are two dimensional size ranges between the mounting holes of the suspended toilets and the bidet: 180 and 230mm. It is necessary to pick up the Santechnic model in advance to know this distance (due to the versatility of SI, any toilet, the bidet will fit). For urinal and shells of such restrictions, the non-model range is very diverse and not settled, therefore si allow you to arrange studs at any distance. Studs for mounting suspended plumbers need to be screwed to finishing, so that the holes at random did not have to drill under them, trying to get into the threaded hole of the frame. Not so long long ago, it was equipped with rubber washers that are risted on the heels between the wall and the suspended plumbing, or use a soundproofing insert from a special material. This avoids the propagation of sound along rigid building structures and makes the entire system completely silent.
Some installation models, such as the DAL-RAPID S from Grohe or Duofix series from Geberit- $ 310, allow the tank position adjustment to the height of the toilet. This is achieved by moving the tank on a special perforated guide. The position of the key (in the case is also adjustable) is usually selected so that the seat cover in the open position does not close it. But sometimes it is impossible to install a full-fledged installation in height due to a lack of space. For such situations, low height installations are manufactured, for example, the DAL-RAPID S 37165 from GROHE (cost- $ 200).
Without exclusion, the SI is equipped with nozzles for connecting to sewer pipes with a diameter of 90 and 110mm and a transitional coupling for docking with Santechpribor. All installations use a pipe with a diameter of 90mm to create a given bend with a minimal radius. To connect shells, bidets and urinates to the mounting frame fittings, a siphon is required, which, as a rule, is not included and sold separately.
Installations are regulated in depth - as a rule, from 125 to 185 mm. This allows them to embed them into niche or partitions of different thickness. For these cases, manufacturers offer sets of special extension cords. Note that when using the buttons associated with the tank mechanism directly, the thickness of the wall covering the installation should not exceed 60-70mm. However, there are buttons with a pneumatic bond, in this case the thickness of the trim or wall roles does not play.

Options
Systems of all built-in tanks have an economical drain. For example, the Tango or Twist models (Geberit), the button consists of two parts. By clicking on one of them, we get an economical drain by clicking on another full. Unbend models in general, the concept of "economical drain" is quite stretching. Drain of water can be stopped at any time by clicking on the re-button. If this is not done, there will be a complete drainage of water available in the tank (from 6 to 9l).Santhechnibores are not necessarily acquired from the same manufacturer that made installation. Everything is unified here. The only limit is the button for the flip tank: it should be the same company as the installation itself (built-in flush tank). Installation manufacturers produce a wide range of buttons. They differ in design, coloring, material. There are buttons in the anti-vandal version (say, the Tango model from Geberit made from aluminum), and sometimes it is attached to an additional device that prevents unauthorized dismantling. The button is purchased separately from C, the price varies within $ 20-60.
Trying to foresee the needs of buyers, manufacturers make a variety of measures. Thus, Viega, Grohe and Geberit release installations with an increased cross section of the profile, from which the frame is manufactured. Such installations are very conveniently mounted in plasterboard partitions (at DAL-RAPID L from Grohe profile cross section 5050mm, in Geberit- 4040mm, at Viega- 3050mm). There are installations intended for installation of plumbing for disabled (model for FRIAPLAN 354020 toilet from Friatec, price- $ 367).
Now many began to include urinal in the interior of the bathroom, refuting the prevailing opinion about it as an attribute of the public toilet only. This is caused by the exceptional hygiene of the urinal. Therefore, the control panels for these Santechnibors deserve separate attention. The urinal does not require a storage tank (tank). This circumstance allows the electronics to control washout. For example, along with the traditional pneumatic flush, control panels are used on infrared beams (model337020 from FRIATEC worth $ 501, etc.) or with a remote ultrasonic motion sensor (like the model UR-80 from Geberit, from $ 460 in anti-vandal execution). Wash in these models is carried out after the visitor leaves from the toilet. The simplest device washing the urinal is a ball valve that opens and closes manually.
Considerable importance for the user has warranty obligations provided by the C manufacturer. Some firms establish a warranty period to 10 years, the maximum term is calculated in 15 years.

Installation
Installation installation fairly simple and does not require additional qualifications of workers. The most important thing is that the instructions are unquestioned. Special attention should be paid to installations attached to the wall using special "paws". "LAPS" must be arranged exactly as indicated in the instructions, otherwise the load distribution will occur when using suspension plumbers. So if you have entrusted installation installation of non-professional, we advise you to control this process personally.
It is equally important to correctly set the SI in height, that is, to combine the meter label on the frame with a meter label from the level of pure floor on the wall. Otherwise, the suspension plumbing can be on the floor.
After mounting the SI, the drain and outlet are covered with special plugs included in the package. If there is a built-in tank, the hole for the button is closed with a special overlay, which is slightly less than the button itself. This pad protects the tank from the construction of the construction waste inwards and allows you to accurately perform tile or finishing works and create a hole of the necessary outlines and sizes.
Like any plumbing, C requires the installation of a mechanical filter for water purification from small particles of dirt and rust. In addition, it should be carefully clear the elements of the tank from oily films that may appear in the first days of the instrument operation (since the elements of engineering networks are supplied in lubrication). The formation of films leads to a change in the friction coefficient on the discharge control elements, which can cause the button of the buttons.
For high-quality wall decoration, the tile is very important to accurately set the position of the C relative to its seams. The drain tank button must be located or in the center of the tile, or in the center of the seam between the tiles. In the opposite case, an unpleasant asymmetry will be. Therefore, C is located strictly by calculation with the 2mm tolerance, and the tile laying starts from the button.
