Bocho style, carpet on the wall and designer furniture - we understand why these and other foreign trends are not very popular in Russia.
1 Style Bocho
Boho's interior is the personification of what is customary to be called artistic disorder. Even the name of the direction went from the French word "Gypsy". Therefore, he is shot with details, textures, flowers and unusual, often made manually, accessories. It is also characterized by an eclecticism: mixing different styles and eras.
To create such an interior and get a harmonious and stylish space, you need to have an artistic taste and courage to move away from the generally accepted rules.
In Russia, the Bocho style is wary. Manually connected napkins are reminded of a grandmother's apartment, the abundance of accessories makes you think about dust, which will settle on them.
Instead of boho, we will choose, rather, Scandinavian style. It also has interesting textures and cozy accessories, but it seems more organized.
2 Designer Furniture & Accessories
In the northern countries, especially in Denmark, very reverent treat designer furniture, lamps and decor. This is due to the developed designer industry, which is supported by the state and love for ecology. For example, a wooden dear desk from a designer is a subject of pride that will live in the house for several generations. Danes call it reasonable consumption: to buy a dear and high-quality thing once and transfer it to grandchildren.
Of course, in Russia, also buy designer furniture. But such a purchase is a sign of a big budget for repair and desire to create a fashionistine interior. Most after all choose the creation of a cozy atmosphere with good objects from the mass market. And the idea to transmit the dining table to grandchildren seems a bit outdated and associated with poverty.
3 Historical interior
There are countries in which you can meet a typical historically established style for them. Going to some apartment in London, decorated with a historic bias, you can easily present Sherlock Holmes in it. It so happened that in England at some point the interior stylistic features appeared and formed in a full direction. For example, for Victorian style is characterized by a floral pattern, a checkered fabric, a good furniture, vintage accessories and a fireplace.
In Russia, there are three ideas about the Russian interior.
- Splint. Wooden furniture, dishes, Khokhloma and oven. Even hints on such a decor are very difficult to find in modern apartments.
- Pre-revolutionary style. In fact, this is a traditional classic in which some Russian accents fit: paintings, patterned tablecloths. These historical interiors were almost preserved, and such an expensive and difficult to place these days.
- Soviet style. Perhaps he remained from Soviet times, and the owners of the house plan to replace him with something more modern. Sometimes such stylization makes people who are passionate about this direction. But still it is not a frequent phenomenon.
4 carpet on the wall
For most countries, a carpet on the wall is an unusual and beautiful designer move. He adds paints, makes the wall of texture and accent. You can change it or outweigh.
In Russia, a long time carpet on the wall helped warming the cold wall in a poorly heated apartment or cover the unsightly coating. The choice of material and pattern was also small. Therefore, a few decree today on such a designer move.
5 contemporary art
Abroad abstract paintings or sculptures - a good way to supplement the modern interior. All new and unusual is of interest, and this acquisition can be boasting friends.
In Russia, they also appreciate and love art, but most often they prefer to leave it in museums. At home I want to see something more comfortable and understandable: photos of loved ones, beautiful posters.
