Young parents with two young sons decided to improve the housing conditions and purchased an apartment on the eighth floor of a new building in the LCD "Rasskazovo". The family in which the husband is busy with private business, and the wife - the raising of children, was required bright, warm interior with light classic elements. For a comfortable life, it was necessary to create a large public area for joint pastime, as well as a roomy kitchen, as the hostess loves to cook and for this uses a large number of kitchen gadgets that wanted to hide from third-party observers, but at the same time there are easy access.
Redevelopment
Radical redevelopment was not required, and in general, all major zones remained in places defined by developers. But completely without change did not succeed. So, according to the wishes of the owners, the kitchen and living room merged, the hallways were isolated and expanded the bathrooms at the expense of a dressing room adjacent to the children's room.
The dining table was a graphic dominant of a common space. Green chairs and a kitchen apron with a bright vegetable print bring the feeling of tropics, and orange curtains are a sunny atmosphere.
Also in the parent bedroom, where the bottom of the balcony is located, the bottom block was dismantled and put a large French window. The wall in this place is undesiable, laid out of foam blocks, so it did not make it difficult. As a result of such a solution in the private premises, there was more light and air.
An open rack for storing books, family photos and souvenirs brought from trips, has become a kind of frame for the plasma screen. An important tactile addition to a gentle ensemble in the recreation area is a carpet with a gradient.
Repairs
New partitions erected from foam blocks. The apartment has already performed a concrete screed with a thickness of 10 cm. A parquet board of a light shade was performed as finishing in residential and porcelain stonewares - in the hallway and bathrooms.
In the transit zone between the hallway and the living room placed showcases for storing numerous dishes designed for the occasion of reception of guests that are often in the house.
Since the house has small children who run, fall and hide the walls, then all common areas were painted with wear-resistant (and wet zones - moisture-proof) paint resistant to mechanical damage. The tile was taken only in the bath and soul area, on all other surfaces, the paint copes excellent with its function. And for finishing the private zones (bedrooms and children), more cozy material was chosen - wallpapers.
The elegant headboard is highlighted against a more relaxed environment. The bedside tables of classical shape and the color of the aged oak made in a carpentry workshop on the sketches of the author of the project.
The ceilings were laid by plasterboard to align a significant height difference and lay noise insulation. Plastic windows supplied by the developer turned out to be good quality, they decided to leave them. And the windowsill were replaced with better, but also plastic.
Along the far walls, a large built-in wardrobe with six sections is installed - for the hostess, and on the opposite wall slightly smaller capacity - for the owner.
All radiators are closed with curtains, so it was decided to establish inexpensive bimetallic models. Since the balcony was supposed to use as an outbuilding room, it did not warm it. The floor stonewares were put on the floor in this area, curtains were hung on the windows, and the built-in wardrobe was mounted along a deaf end wall.
The chandelier-attack aircraft performs in the children's rapidly decorative function, the main source of light is the built-in lamps. Over the desktop placed two additional sleds. Green curtains are designed slightly refreshing the blue color chosen as the main one. The space was clearly divided into half, equalizing the brothers, the difference at the age of 3 years.
Design
The interior is solved in the eclectic style, in which classic cabinets with fillets and the aged dressers are harmoniously adjacent to tropical prints and modern elements. From the threshold of the owners, he meets an energetic orange shade, which sets up on the positive and serves as a color leitmotif of the interior along with a green gamut. "I want the interior to be warm," did not get tired of repeating the customer. This effect was achieved in each room due to the introduction of green and solar shades. The hostess loves Thailand and the juicy vegetation of the jungle, so the topic of the tropics was reflected in the colors and elements of the public zone finish.
The center of the composition in the input zone was the chest of chest with a embossed facade, made of an oak array. The cabinet with the mirror facades visually expands the close space.
Functional storage systems are provided in almost every corner of the apartment. All cabinets are made to order and under the ceiling, because this is how they become less cumbersome and noticeable, but at the same time the most accommodated. Built-in sections in the end of the balcony play the role of mini-storage room. The kitchen-living room has three storage zones. In the corners in the nursery there are identical wardrobes, and the space between them took a huge rack for books and toys.
The bathroom illuminates the front chandelier, supplemented by two sconces. For storage of bath accessories, the cabinet is designed quite large (140 cm long). In the toilet, half the room took a huge wardrobe, followed by washing and drying machines, laundry baskets, mop, vacuum cleaner and other household cleaning equipment.

This project is one of the few, where the work went easily and quickly. Customers completely trusted the architect, which is always the key to success. The drawings and collages were approved by almost the first time, and we have no longer receded from them. In general, we achieved what they wanted: lightness, modernity and brightness, but at the same time with taking traditions. Most of the furniture items for this interior are made to order in a joinery workshop. We understood very well that we need, what color and size, and also it was necessary to fit into a certain budget. Therefore, we copied something, something came up with themselves, and the joiners embodied all our ideas.
