Above the door, under the bed or in an uncomfortable corner - we tell how to use every centimeter in a small room.
1 above the door
We never think about space over the door when you plan storage. Nevertheless, a large long shelf of dark wood will be a bright emphasis in a bright living room and will surely be a couple of dozen books.
And the shelves above the kitchen door and at its perimeter only at first glance seem very small. You can store cutting boards, part of the service, cookbooks are not so little for small cuisine.
If the door to the bathroom is located next to the wall, try hanging an angular shelf over it, it will contain more items, such as spare soap or aromatic candles.
2 above the bed
If you have a small bedroom and headboard rank almost the entire wall, plan the shelves over the bed and along the wall. Such a solution looks much more interesting than an empty wall and original than the usual combination of the bed and two small bedside tables.
In the base of the shelves, you can build point lamps and solve the issue with additional lighting if you like to read before bedtime. In the product of the capacity, such a solution also wins - there will be where to store books, part of bed linen and blanket.
3 on wall panels
Ordinary shelves can take too many space in a small room and not cope with the storage of some trifles. If this is your case, hang on the wall with a wall panel with a plurality of holes for which you can hook hooks or small stands. So you can store different accessories in the bathroom, decorations, shoes and clothing - in the bedroom, toys and tools for creativity - in the nursery. At any time, you can all swap places or to remove the panel to another room, no extra holes in the walls and problems with the shelves search.
4 in color boxes
In the living room you can use several bright multicolored metal boxes instead of the usual decoration of the wall by collages with photos and posters. Before fixing boxes no wall, cut the rectangles of the same sizes from color cardboard and stir on the wall using a tape. The whole composition should not get too strict and smooth, otherwise the wall will resemble bank cells.
5 per curtain
The standard depth of the wardrobe is forty-fifty centimeters. Not in every small room will be able to enter such dimensions of such dimensions, and the furniture to order is more expensive. Sometimes the finished closet even loses in the capacity, as part of the space goes to the doors and the distance to them. Save the necessary centimeters for storage and save on the purchase of a wardrobe will help eaves on the ceiling and curtains, for which you hide all the same shelves and crossbars for hangers.
6 on the first tier
Before trying to fit in a tiny bedroom, everything is immediately - a bed, workplace and a wardrobe, try to resort to two-level systems. In this case, the bed is usually located upstairs, and the crossbars are installed under it for clothing and shelves. There you can also fit a small table, and then there will be free space in the room. It looks like this solution very cozy and gently, especially suitable for children or for students' room.
7 in Corners
Do not leave empty angles in small apartments. Perhaps there will be a successful wardrobe or shelves, open hangers or a wicker basket will rise.
8 under the bed
Choose a bed with drawers or organize a mini-podium under it. They can store not only bed linen, but also shoes, bags - everything that cannot be contacted and organized in the closet.
