What are wine wardrobes
All wine cabinets in their functional purpose can be divided into two groups - on storage cabinets or for storage and demonstration.

In the second case, the demonstration cabinet plays the role of a bar buffet. There may be a place in it not only for bottles, but also for glasses, decanter decanter and other necessary devices. Inside usually there are several zones with different temperature regime so that different drinks can be stored. Why is the usual refrigerator not suitable for storage?
In most models of refrigerators, compressors that create vibration are used. This vibration is almost invisible and does not affect the quality of meat, cheese or vegetables, but it is contraindicated for storing wine.
Wine cabinets use more complex and expensive damping systems that quench vibration from the compressor. Also, both incomplete cooling systems are also used, based, for example, on thermoelectric converters (Peltier elements). Such systems do not produce any vibration. In ordinary refrigerators, they do not meet, mainly due to low efficiency.
What to pay attention to when choosing a wine cabinet
Capacity
Small wine wardrobes (10-12 bottles) are not very convenient, they can be recommended only in the case of an acute lack of space. It is better to select a full-size model. The wardrobe is 50 cm wide and 80 cm high (such sometimes installed under the worktop) accommodates 30-40 bottles, and a full-sized wine cabinet with a useful amount of about 300-350 liters is usually designed for 150-200 bottles.
Protection against dryness and unpleasant odors
In wine cabinets there must be a system that supports humidity at a given level (so that the corks do not dispel). Therefore, in these devices to obtain the necessary level of humidity, water containers are used, where water is evaporated from time to time. The fluid in them is required to be periodically added.
